Yesterday I took my mother back to Banda Aceh to undergo her fourth chemotherapy, and when we arrived in Banda Aceh we immediately stayed at our relative's house, and while I was at our relative's house I felt extremely bored so it occurred to me to go around Banda Aceh to look for the beauty that the city has to offer.
And after deciding to take this trip, I also asked one of my brothers to accompany me on this trip, we took this trip during the day when the sun was blazing hot so that the weather became very hot.which made us have to stop at one of the bridges to take shelter for a moment
when we stopped at the bridge, I saw that the bridge had its own uniqueness in terms of its extraordinary architecture, which made me immediately approach the bridge to take some pictures that showed the beauty of this connecting bridge, and under this bridge there is also a river that is quite wide.
The river is quite wide and broad and of course the water is very deep which makes this river passable by ships, look at the very hot sun making me very hot and feeling hot when I was on the bridge.
after taking some pictures, I finally approached my brother who was taking shelter under the trees to ask him to immediately continue the journey to the most beautiful place in the city center.
To be honest, I didn't understand the way here because I rarely go to Banda Aceh, so I invited my brother because he already understands the ins and outs of this city and the right way, and we continued the journey with full enthusiasm because our current goal was to go to the most beautiful place in Banda Aceh and become one of the most historic places in this city.
In the middle of the journey, suddenly my brother stopped and I asked why he stopped in the middle of the journey, and my brother showed me a large monument on the side of the road that said the city of Banda Aceh.
After seeing the beauty, I immediately got off the motorbike and went straight to the monument to take some pictures there.
It looked so beautiful and enchanting, because the weather was very hot at that time I didn't stay there for long and immediately rushed to continue my journey.
From a distance, my destination was clearly visible to the naked eye, making me very excited and impatient to get there, and I wanted to ask my brother to speed up his vehicle again.
and after passing several crossroads and road figures as well as several roads lined with tall buildings that show the beauty and grandeur of Banda Aceh City, we finally arrived at our destination.
After arriving at the destination, my younger sibling immediately parked his motorbike in the parking lot that had been provided for that place, and after dropping my younger sibling off to park his motorbike, we immediately entered the place, and after entering the place, we immediately took a rest first in a place that had been provided for resting.
and this place is underground but this place is very cold maybe because there is air from outside coming in, we immediately rested here and ate some of the equipment we bought on the way, and I was still underground to rest.
And this place is also very beautiful with some architecture on the walls that look very extraordinary, and what makes me even more amazed is that there is a motif stuck on the wall of this place.
For those who don't know, this is a motif that has historical meaning in Aceh, and this motif is a symbol of the door of Aceh, but I don't really understand this symbol, and I don't dare to provide further information because I don't want to be wrong in providing information about this symbol. In essence, this is a motif that symbolizes the door of Aceh.
We rested here for quite a while, almost an hour here because my brother was resting and he fell asleep, which made me have to wait for him to wake up first.
And after he woke up, we immediately rushed to go upstairs because to be able to enjoy the beauty of the place we were visiting, we had to go upstairs first, and we went upstairs using the stairs that had been provided at that place.
And after climbing the stairs, I was immediately amazed by the beauty and grandeur of the building.
Baiturrahman Grand Mosque
After arriving at the mosque, I immediately headed to the front yard of the mosque first to see some extraordinary views from a small garden at the entrance gate of the mosque.
This park is very beautiful and clean with very well-maintained, green and lush grass, making me very amazed by this beauty and there are several chairs to sit on provided for visitors here, but because the weather is very hot so there is no one in this park.
And in the park there is also a towering building which adds to the beautiful impression of this park.
I had been walking in the park and I couldn't stand it anymore because the heat of the sun made my feet feel very hot because I wasn't wearing sandals because in that place it was not allowed to wear sandals.
And after that I went straight to the front of the mosque to take some pictures showing the beauty and grandeur of the mosque building.

And in front of this mosque there is also a pool that is quite large in size which adds to the impression and additional extraordinary views that we can only enjoy when we are in this mosque.
It is truly amazing, I have visited this mosque several times and I have also made a post about this mosque, my post was a few months ago, but in this post I am again making a post about this mosque which will explain more deeply about the beauty and grandeur of this mosque.
After taking several pictures from various angles showing the beauty and grandeur of this mosque, I immediately returned to rest at the first place where we rested, the day was starting to get cloudy so we had to immediately continue our journey because our next destination was to a very beautiful sea in the city of Banda Aceh.
And after discussing briefly with my brother, we immediately left the mosque and continued our journey towards the sea.
and in the middle of the journey the atmosphere started to get dark because the clouds had covered the sky and light rain started to fall which made us have to immediately speed up our motorbikes so we could get to the sea quickly.
And when we had almost reached our destination, suddenly my brother stopped again in the middle of the journey, I asked him again why he stopped suddenly, then my brother showed me a very beautiful view that showed a very beautiful river estuary with some extraordinary views behind it.
When I was taking some pictures of this amazing view, suddenly the weather outside changed to be very bad, the winds at sea became stronger which caused the sand in the sea to fly so that it hurt my eyes.
and we immediately continued our journey by driving our motorbikes at high speed so that we could arrive at our destination on time.
And when we almost arrived at our destination, suddenly we were stopped by one of the lifeguards who said that it was dangerous to go there because the sea wind was starting to get strong, the lifeguard reminded us and at the same time forbade us from continuing this journey.
And the picture above can give an idea of what the weather was like when we were at the edge of the sea, the clouds had started to turn black and thick covering the sky above us.
And the wind was so strong that it could even knock down the surrounding trees, we didn't want to take any risks and followed what the lifeguard said, we immediately turned the motorbike around and continued our journey home.
And on the way home it started to rain heavily making me and my brother have to think about how to get home quickly, one way was to speed up our motorbike lol.
So those are some pictures and my story about the excitement of my trip to the city of Banda Aceh, and for those who don't know, the city of Banda Aceh is the capital of the province of Aceh, Indonesia.
