Today as I woke up, I didn't know where I developed a crazy demeanor to visit Monday Market all by myself in Delhi Metro.
Som Bazaar, Karol Bagh is one of the cheapest monday markets in Delhi. After shuffling for half an hour in Delhi Metro, I finally reached and I saw a huge crowd of people roaming around the market. The first thing i stumbled upon in the market was this delectable street food, “Chana Chaat”, loved by many people in India. It costed me 30 INR. Walking by a few metres, i found these amazing white sunglasses, trendy in fashion for gen-z. It costed me 100 INR.
Now, finally i came across Karol Bagh’s famous Lemon Soda, “Jain Shikanji Wala”. The way he served it in a printed paper tumbler adding soda, one spoon of black salt and half slice of lemon made me drink it again after one whole glass of 60 INR. Then, i founded a footwear shop for women and i decided to bought a pair of juttis for my mother. It costed me 200 INR in sale. The prices were fixed because these street vendors were already selling it at a very low price, so bargaining wasn't allowed. It was almost 2:30, and I realized it by observing children sitting in a van returning home from school.
A thought occurred to me, it's time to head back home as it was almost my lunchtime and my family would be waiting for me. I enjoyed traveling alone and capturing the most beautiful moments around me. I would like to visit it again.
