HELLO, HI, HOWDY! 🤠
Good people of Hive. How are you all doing today? Hope you're all doing well.
Finally! We have some Black Ops 6 gameplay in store. Even though I played the BETA about 2 weeks ago, I finally got the time now to edit and upload the gameplay.
We only have BETA access for 72 hours, I managed to play for 4 to 5 hours or so, but it was enough for me to get some good gameplay and also to come to a conclusion. All in all, it's an "innovative" approach. And COD from here on will never be the same; the same goes for Warzone.
So, let's get started!
The game may seem boring at first, simply because of the old style of movement we're accustomed to, but as you slowly start to tap into the movement potential of this game, you will learn that the possibilities are crazy when it comes to maneuvering. Even though I haven't mastered the movement, I could still feel it in some situations.
The gunplay is quite similar to what we're used to. There's not much of a difference there, but the attachment system is a lot simpler.
The maps are alright, even though the options were limited. Babylon is an amazing map, and I fell in love with it in the first gameplay. It's going to be one of my favorite maps for sure. Hopefully, we'll get Nuke Town and other popular small maps. I'm not a fan of larger maps. as some of you already know.
We dropped into this game during the last day of the BETA, and we dominated the matcha and mode. It was a piece of cake. As we were leveling up our guns, we had some fun too. Even though I didn't get a chance to try most of the weapons, all I could see was that the weapons that I did use had character.
If you haven't noticed already, from the trailers and gameplay we've seen so far. The game is very similar to the COD Cold War from 2020. Especially the HUG and visuals. The guns feel fairly similar too, the same goes for the TTK. And it makes sense because both these games are under the Black Ops title name, and Cold War was basically Black Ops 5.
The game's release is still a month away, so I'm not worried about buying the game yet. However, I probably will get it right after release. There are chances that the game might be buggy during release, so I'd rather wait and buy an optimized game, instead of an unoptimized pile of crap.
I'm really interested to see how the integration to Warzone will be. I'm not a fan of these integrations, where every new COD release is jammed into a certain version of Warzone. However, it's not my decision to make. If the developers have learned from their past mistakes, then we should be in good hands.
Time will tell. For now, enjoy the gameplay, and I'll be seeing you folks on the next one.
