Dream to Work - Work to Inspire

When I graduated high school I was still undecided of what course I am going to take in college because I do not know what specific course that fits to my skills and shy Personality.

During the enrollment day, I just get the enrollment form where courses are written and you are going to encircle the course you want to take. I close my eyes and prayed to the Lord and say "Thy will be done" because I believed that every job is a calling! As I opened my eyes the tip of my pen was pointing to BEED (Bachelor in Elementary Education) since, I love kids and BEED has the cheapest tuition fee during that time, so I encircled it. 😆

Along the way, I enjoyed my journey taking the course of becoming a teacher! It was a blessing indeed I get the chance to meet my circle of friends the "Ganggangers" our group name was taken from the word "Gang" which means a group of people working or going about together. Our group is compose of ten girls with different attitudes, perceptions, and religions yet inspite of our differences we still build strong friendship. We consider each other as sisters. We set goals to achieved and our Ultimate goal is to become teachers!

Our journey is never been easy, we experienced sleepless nights just to finish our assignments and thesis. We experienced a lot of failures but we never give up on our dreams we work hard and we inspire one another to pass the course! We do group study and make projects together. We became Deans Lister during first year to third year only. We failed to maintain it until fourth year because of one subject. The teachers set very high standards and we didn't able to get that standard. We cried a lot for we wish to graduate as cum laude. We are so disappointed at that time. Then, we realized that maybe that award is not for us, anyway we can still become a teacher with or with out awards.

After our graduation my friends enrolled in the review center in preparation for the board exam. Since, my parents can't afford to send me in any review center, I do self review and my friends let me borrow their reviewers. We review and pray together and fortunately we passed the Licensure examination for teachers!

After a few months, we made our dreams came true! We became teachers! Most of us are employed in public schools while the others are in private schools. Though we are assigned in different schools and we are now away from each other our friendship remains the same. And our next goal is to inspire our learners to dream big and work hard to achieved it!
