I'm a new member of the @Lifestyle community. Congratulations and greetings to all admin, moderators and members of Lifestyle as new members. Today I will share with you about my expat life. Let's start.
Expat life means a strange mix of emotions. It is very difficult to live in a far country leaving the soil of the country, closeness of family, childhood memories. One has to struggle to adapt to new language, culture and work pressure constantly. But in this life there are new opportunities. Entrants work hard in hopes of fulfilling their dreams, building a future for their family and achieving financial status. Despite loneliness and longing for loved ones, they continue to move towards a better future. Expat life is hard, but every moment is a precious experience. The hard work and sacrifices of expatriates play an important role in the economic prosperity of their families and countries. This expatriate lifestyle is a story of imitation. Which teaches hard work and dedication.
I am a Saudi Arabian expatriate. Now the winter season is going on in Saudi Arabia. I am in charge of pump room operator in Nesma company in Saudi Arabia. I wake up at 4:30 am and finish Fajr prayer. After breakfast I leave for work at 5:30 am. Because here we go to work side by bus at 5.45 am. After going to the work site there is a lot of cold wind blowing. Because Saudi Arabia is a desert country. The side where I work is just desert and desert. So cold air is causing a lot of cold. I have several warm winter clothes on and it feels very cold. So I had a cup of hot coffee before starting work in the morning.
Now let's come to work. I work in this pumproom. Fire testing is done once a week in this pump room today Saturday. I think every country in the world has this pump room. Many of you know about this pump room. Still I will do the fire testing today. Before doing the fire testing I took some pictures of the pump. I have presented them to you. Among them, I have presented the Jaockey pump first, then the diesel pump and the electric pump. Here we will test two pumps. Those two pumps are diesel pump and electric pump.
The job of jockey pump is to maintain the pressure of the electric and diesel pumps. If the jockey pump cannot maintain the job, then the electric pump will start first and then the diesel pump will start. Because of this, the electric and diesel pumps are always helping to control the pressure of the jockey pump. . That's why we do this fire testing one day in a week that is Saturday.
Because electric and diesel pumps do
I pointed out that I will do fire testing. As I told you before, Jockey pump controls the pressure of electric and diesel pumps. Because of which the pressure is under control, I will start these two pumps through fire testing. First we started the electric pump. We will keep this electric pump running for 15 minutes. Then we will start the diesel pump and keep this pump running for 15 minutes. Because we will be testing we will not be running these two pumps for long. The only purpose of running these two pumps is to check if there is any problem in the line to the pump, because when the pump is turned on, the water will be bypassed by this line into the tank. And if there is a problem, we will understand. Then the water line will not stop. I can also tell if there is any problem with the electric and diesel pumps. Alhamdulillah we have started fire testing. So far we have not faced any problems.
You can see many pipe lines here. When we start electric and diesel pump fire testing, there are many bypass water lines through this bypass water line to water tank during fire testing. Here you can see a friend of mine helping me with my work. First there is a gate valve to allow water to flow through the pipe to the tank. My friend opens that gate valve. By opening the previous valve, the water goes to the tank through the bypass pipe line. So I have presented some moments of work to you.
You can see that after finishing the work, I am standing next to the pump room where there are two water tanks. And I have shared it with you. Because at the time when we do fire testing in the pump room, we supply water to the tank through the bypass pipe line through electric and diesel pumps. I am standing here to show you these two water tanks. I am an expatriate and present to you my work today. Please let me know what you think of my work.
