Visiting and tasting the Mokaccino at Moka Deli Café

The most expensive coffee I have ever tasted!
Yes, today I am going to tell you about the most expensive coffee I have tasted in all my career since I started visiting places to find my ideal place to go when I feel like trying something different from what is prepared at home.

Although, this time it is very different because I am going to tell you about a place that is located in the great city of Caracas and, last week I was visiting there, doing some paperwork and I felt that I could not leave Caracas without entering one of its coffee shops, although, I returned a little sad because I really wanted to try that place that @bulkathos mentioned in one of his publications and bring a few grams of that coffee home.

The trip to Caracas was unplanned, but, once I knew I was leaving for the city, I contacted @bulkathos to ask for specific indications on how to get to the “Artesano Café”.

My other option was to write in the Aliento telegram group and ask who lived in Caracas and friend @lduranjwp very kindly mentioned some options where I could approach to eat and drink coffee.

Well, my friends.
I tell you that I did not reach the recommended places, however, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the time you took to give me the indications, really, I thank you very much and I will reserve them for my next visit to the big city.

The truth is, I am going to tell you that I did go to a place that was 10/10 in presence, appearance and attention. I liked it very much, I think I would repeat that visit, although, possibly, consider the prices of the drinks in that wonderful place.

Last Wednesday I went with my family to Sabana Grande, well, there we were going to meet the sister of the husband of the aunt I was with, we did what we were going to do and then we were left with that space where we asked ourselves, what do we do now? Then came the idea of finally taking a few minutes to go and have that coffee that Rosmi wanted to try somewhere in the city.
To be honest, I didn't have much idea of a place, since it was my first time in Caracas. My dad and my aunt (who I was with) had already been to Caracas, but they had never stopped for a coffee there.
The only place I had in mind was, to get to Uni centro el Marques, but, ah, dad told me to look in the Gps App for a place closer because he wasn't going to walk that far.
So, I started searching on Google, then on the GPS and the closest was Moka Deli Café.

At first glance, I was very impressed by the top floor where the coffee beans and the cup are located. But, the real amazement was when we entered Moka and we were so amazed that once inside, I felt we didn't have a chance to say no and leave the way we came in.
The place is very beautiful inside, it is friendly and warm. Their employees are very friendly, with an impeccable presence and a 10/10 treatment.
I believe that here in Apure I have not encountered a treatment like this, since these employees made sure that we were comfortable, from the point of placing us in a place suitable for the whole family to guide us to make our order correctly.

Yes, they focused on the whole family because they considered that we were carrying two little girls who were amazed to see the park they had. So they seated us near the park so we could enjoy the place while watching them from our seats.
Really the place is very clean, nice and you can tell it is quite luxurious. I think we knew it from the beginning, but, as I said, once inside it was hard to go back and yes, when we checked the menu and started to see everything they offer and their prices, we were left with our mouths open.

We came for a coffee and a coffee was what we ordered.
We ordered a Mokaccino and I liked the presentation, although I am not very surprised because I have seen how they prepare them here in Apure and the ones you share here.
This Moka has a value of 4 $ and the truth is that it seemed a little expensive, considering that the cup was smaller than I expected and honestly, the fact that they put the cookie did not surprise me because I think it is something they do in all the places where they serve this type of coffee.

Yes, the mocha was good, but, I feel that the taste was not worth the $4. I think what was really worth the $4 was the place, the sitting there, the girls being able to enjoy the theme park they have, the attention, oh, and the bathrooms that were very clean and had everything for hygiene.

Something I wanted to mention is that, I consider that it is the most expensive coffee I have ever tasted because, the ones I have tasted here in Apure, usually have a price between 1.5 $ - 2.5 $ so I did not imagine getting this Mokaccino for the value of 4 $.

If I had gone into that place I only regret one thing and that is that the mokaccino was not as delicious as I imagined it would be, and partly there was also the fact that I was inviting my relatives to enjoy the great aroma and flavor of this type of coffee, although, possibly I should have ordered something simpler.

Well, from my point of view Moka Deli Café would get the following score.

Location: 10/10
Presence: 10/10
Atmosphere: 10/10
Attention: 10/10
Coffee Flavor: 7/10

I did not define this alone, since I also consulted with my father and my aunt.
The only thing I regret is not having dared to take more pictures, because there were a lot of people and it was really embarrassing to take out my phone to record or take pictures of everything I really wanted to take, but I tried to take these that I show you here.

Well, friends, I'm coming to the end of this publication, but, I could not say goodbye without saying that:

Hi Rosmi! What an interesting post. I didn't know about that cafeteria. There are many places like that in Sabana Grande and well, it has a lot to do with the history of the boulevard itself. Now about the price, which was a bit expensive, but I'm glad you had a chill time with your family. Regards.
!BBH

It would be interesting to know its history, this time I could not stop in tourist mode. I plan to make a trip but this time as a tourist.

@rosmiapure! @bulkathos likes your content! so I just sent 1 BBH to your account on behalf of @bulkathos. (1/50)

I always appreciate a place that has a kids' corner, as it makes it a more fun outing for little ones who, let's face it, don't really care that much about coffee or chat anyway. Gotta say those coffees look delicious, especially that nutty glaze thing! Good on you :)

After such a thorough review, even my coffee needs a coffee!.png

Yes, a coffee with a park is the best!
So the child doesn't get bored and the adult doesn't get annoyed because the child is bored.
The adult has a good time chatting and the child has fun too.

Rosmi you were so close and so far away at the same time! If you didn't know you were in Caracas, I would have found some perfect guides to help you have a good coffee at Artesano's or another one in the center of the city...

I liked the very sincere observation you made about the place in question, sometimes they charge you more simply because of the area where it is located or because they want to promote a premium service but the quality is not total if you perceive that it taste is not as tasty as the menu says.

When I go to Apure you will be my guide to have a good coffee.☕☕💯

Yes, it was really a surprise, I didn't remember that you are in Caracas.
Well, I plan to come back sometime as a tourist mode, I hope to see you and share a nice coffee.

It will be a pleasure to join you for a coffee here in Apure.
(If it's a weekend better, because I work during the week).
Hope to see you soon.

I agree with you, the price for coffee is quite expensive, if the taste did not make you fall in love, what a disappointment of coffee, the nice thing to be appreciated also all the variants of the place, very beautiful by the way, the parks in the premises, it is a favorable option for our little ones, in spite of everything they had a good time 🥰.

I just found out that there is a coffee shop that provides a children's play area. So, they won't disturb their parents while sipping coffee.
