Yo estoy algo nerviosa y con anticipación por terminar este mes de julio, pues en agosto empiezan los intensivos en mi universidad, así que tuve que ir a inscribir las materias que querría adelantar para este tramo📝.

I am a little nervous and looking forward to finishing this month of July because in August the intensive courses start at my university, so I had to go and register the subjects that I would like to advance for this period📝.
Para los que no sepan, un intensivo es la oportunidad de adelantar unos créditos de tu pensum (en nuestro caso dos materias) en el periodo de vacaciones previas al próximo semestre.
Algo que me agrada de esta universidad es su ritmo constante y que no para pese a que veces se pueda estar cayendo😂, me recuerda a mí, intentándolo.
Este día fui con mi adorada amiga Paola, que vive cerca de mí y pues somos uña y mugre ahora. Nos fuimos juntitas en el transporte público, que no extraño para nada, por cierto.
For those who do not know, an intensive is an opportunity to advance some credits of your curriculum (in our case two subjects) in the vacation period before the next semester.
Something I like about this university is its constant rhythm and that it doesn't stop even though sometimes it may be falling😂, it reminds me of me, trying.
This day I went with my beloved friend Paola, who lives close to me and we are now a couple. We went together on public transportation, which I don't miss at all, by the way.
Al llegar nos sorprendió un poco ver la cantidad de gente, pues somos de Ingeniería de los alimentos, normalmente en esta carrera cada vez nos familiarizamos más con las mismas caras y poco a poco sabemos quienes somos, los mismos de siempre jaja, en comparación con otras carreras en las que hay tanta gente que todo el proceso termina siendo bastante tedioso.
When we arrived we were a little surprised to see the number of people since we are from Food Engineering, normally in this career we become more and more familiar with the same faces and little by little we know who we are, the same as always haha, compared to other careers in which there are so many people that the whole process ends up being quite tedious.
Tuvimos que anotarnos en una lista, nuestros nombres y las materias que queríamos cursar. Yo estaría inscribiendo Principios de la Ingeniería II y Física I y Paola Química Orgánica y Física II. Lamentablemente no nos veremos en este intensivo, pero para el próximo semestre no se libra de mí🥺.
Nos encontramos a varios compañeros y chismeamos un poco mientras esperábamos nuestro turno en la fila para pasar al salón e inscribirnos.
We had to write down on a list, our names and the subjects we wanted to take. I would be enrolling Principles of Engineering II and Physics I and Paola Organic Chemistry and Physics II. Unfortunately, we won't see each other in this intensive, but for next semester she won't get rid of me🥺.
We met several classmates and gossiped a bit while waiting our turn in line to go to the classroom and register.
La verdad siempre me he quejado de estos procesos tan arcaicos, necesitamos un buen sistema online, bien organizado donde podamos hacer todo esto, pero bueno, esa es una de las mil quejas de la comunidad estudiantil de esta universidad pública en mi país.
Se trabaja con lo que se tiene.
Después de un rato nos marcaron con números para identificarnos y nos hicieron pasar. Adentro estaban varias mesas con las materias en carteles, fue cuestión de identificar las que querías y llenar nuestros datos✅.
The truth is that I have always complained about these archaic processes, we need a good online system, well organized where we can do all this, but well, that is one of the thousand complaints of the student community of this public university in my country.
You work with what you have.
After a while they called us with numbers to identify us and showed us in. Inside there were several tables with the subjects on posters, it was a matter of identifying the ones you wanted and filling out our data✅.
Fue rápido la verdad y bastante calmado, al terminar me encontré con Pao y nos fuimos a casa.
Ahora nos toca esperar el mes de agosto y ver que nos depara este intenso mes con estas materias que se ve que estarán algo fuertes, solo espero mucha fortaleza mental para aprender lo suficiente y aprobarlas, lo mismo le deseo a todos mis compañeros✨.
It was really fast and quite calm when I finished I met Pao and we went home.
Now we have to wait for August and see what this intense month has in store for us with these subjects that are going to be a bit tough, I just hope for a lot of mental strength to learn enough and pass them, I wish the same to all my colleagues✨.
