¡Saludos, pequeños caminantes!♥️
Espero que estén muy bien.
Hace tiempo que no pasaba por acá y es que siendo totalmente honestos, hace un buen tiempo que no caminaba tanto como este día y me pareció apropiado compartirlo con ustedes.
Este día, en compañía de mi novio, fuimos a dar una larga caminata por un lugar llamado Paseo Colón, ubicado en Puerto la Cruz, estado Anzoátegui, Venezuela.

I hope you are all well.
It's been a while since I've been here and being honest, it's been a while since I've walked as much as I did this day and I thought it was appropriate to share it with you.
That day, in the company of my boyfriend, we went for a long walk in a place called Colón Promenade, located in Puerto la Cruz, Anzoátegui state, Venezuela.
En este viaje nos quedamos en una posada cerca del terminal de Puerto la Cruz, así que desde ahí partimos, pasando por las calles oscuras y un poco terroríficas del centro de esta ciudad, no pude tomar fotos porque me daba algo de miedo sacar mi teléfono, pero al ver una linda plaza y consultar con Google Maps, nos anunció que era la Plaza Bolívar y que estábamos cerca del Paseo Colón.
Diría que desde que partimos hasta finalmente ver las palmeras del Paseo Colón, fueron unos 20 minutos de caminata, quizás menos si apresuras el paso.
On this trip we stayed at an inn near the terminal of Puerto la Cruz, so from there we left, passing through the dark and little scary streets of the center of this city, I could not take pictures because I was a little scared to take out my phone, but seeing a nice square and consulting with Google Maps, announced us that it was the Bolívar Square and that we were near the Paseo Colon.
I would say that from the time we left until we finally saw the palm trees of Paseo Colon, it was about a 20-minute walk, maybe less if you pick up the pace.

Mi primer pensamiento sobre este lugar fue Wow, que hermosa vista.
Se trata de una larga avenida que tiene un enorme paso peatonal y es un atractivo turístico de esta ciudad, obligatoriamente debes pasar por aquí si vienes.
Puedes ver la playa de un lado y de otro están ubicadas muchas franquicias de comida, algunas populares como McDonald's y otras no tan conocidas como pequeños puestos de comida rápida y demás, también licorerías y comercios.
My first thought about this place was Wow, what a beautiful view.
This is a long avenue that has a huge pedestrian walkway and is a tourist attraction in this city, you must pass this way if you come here.
You can see the beach on one side and on the other located many food franchises, some popular like McDonald's and others not so well known as small fast food stalls and so on, also liquor stores and stores.

Iniciamos nuestra caminata por la playa, observando las palmeras y me encantó la vibra playera, lamentablemente en esta playa nadie puede bañarse, pues está algo contaminada, aunque esto no impide que se vea muy bonito todo.
Al pasear pudimos ver muchas personas sentadas, carros con música celebrando, dueños paseando con sus perritos, algunas personas ejercitándose y niños jugando en algunos inflables o mini parques que se ubican en el camino.
We began our walk along the beach, observing the palm trees and I loved the beach vibe, unfortunately, no one can bathe on this beach, as it is somewhat polluted, although this does not prevent it from looking very nice all around.
As we walked we could see many people sitting, cars with music celebrating, owners walking with their dogs, some people exercising and children playing in some inflatables or mini parks that are located on the road.

En cierto punto de la caminata nos turnábamos para ir por el paso peatonal y otras para tomar el lado cerca de la playa, para escuchar las olas y apreciar mejor todo el panorama.
Culminamos esta caminata llegando al emblemático cartel que dice Yo <3 Puerto la Cruz y junto a él también se ubica la gran cruz iluminada que da nombre a esta ciudad. En esta parte siempre hay turistas tomándose fotos y no fuimos la excepción.
At a certain point of the walk, we took turns going through the pedestrian walkway and others to take the side near the beach, to listen to the waves and better appreciate the whole panorama.
We finished this walk arriving at the emblematic sign that says I <3 Puerto la Cruz and next to it is also located the big illuminated cross that gives name to this city. In this part, there are always tourists taking pictures and we were no exception.

Nos dio sed, así que decidimos sentarnos acá, tomarnos una cerveza Polar y brindar por tener la oportunidad de conocer este precioso lugar.

We got thirsty, so we decided to sit here, have a Polar beer, and toast for having the opportunity to know this beautiful place.
