Rumors Album is the eleventh studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on February 4, 1977 by Warner Bros. Records. The album was produced by the Fleetwood Mac band with Kenneth Douglas Caillat and Richard Charles Dashut. The music on the Rumors is characterized by a mix of electric and acoustic instrumentation, accented rhythms, guitars and keyboards, while its lyrics deal with personal and often troubled relationships.
Rumors Album became the number one album on the UK Albums Chart and also topped the US Billboard 200. The songs "Dreams", "Go Your Own Way", "Don't Stop" and "You Make Loving Fun" were released as singles, all of which reached the top 10 in the US, with "Dreams" also reaching number one. The Rumors Album was a major commercial success, selling over 10 million copies worldwide just a month after its release. Following such success, Fleetwood Mac undertook on concert tours around the world.
The Rumors Album won Album of the Year at the 1978 Grammy Awards and was certified Diamond in many countries including the UK, Canada, Australia and the US, and was certified 21x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2003. In 2017, it was selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress as being deemed "culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant." Additionally, Rumors was ranked #7 on Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" list in 2020.
The Rumors Album is considered Fleetwood Mac's magnum opus. As of February 2023, Rumors has sold over 40 million copies worldwide, making it the sixth best-selling album of the 1970s and the ninth best-selling album of all time.

There are great songs on the Rumors Album, it is truly a great work. My favorite song on the album is Dreams.
Fleetwood Mac - Dreams
Dreams has an incredible introduction and Stevie Nicks' haunting vocal suited the style of the song perfectly, also ensuring that her harmonious vocals to mesh well with the background vocals. Also, it is one of my favorite songs from a drum perspective. Dreams is a true classic that many people know and love thanks to the collaborative efforts of all band members. The song Dreams is a demonstration of the strengths of the entire band.
