Hello everyone, Welcome to my Splinterlands Social Media Challenge post. In this post, I will talk about Runemancer Florre, cards with 2 types of attacks, and more, as well as an amazing battle. I hope it will be useful for you.
In Splinterlands, every card is useful in battles when used with good strategies, but some cards are much more useful in some battles. It is always important to have a good strategy in battles because no matter how powerful your opponent is, if you can determine a good strategy, you can be the winner of the battle. Having a strong defense in battles is as important as attacking targets strongly, or even more important, because in order to win the battle, at least one monster on your team must survive while destroying all the monsters on the opposing team at the end of the battle. So, protecting friendly monsters against enemy attacks is very useful during battles, so I attach great importance to protecting friendly monsters against enemy attacks. However, it is difficult to take precautions against Monsters with 2 types of attacks, and even more difficult in some battles, so I place great importance on adding Monsters with 2 types of attacks to my team in certain rulesets because they can upset my opponents' strategy. Let's examine this in a battle.
- Target Practice: All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability.
- Wands Out: Only Monsters with Magic attack may be used in battles.
Snipe Ability : Targets the first enemy Unit with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that is not in the first position with Ranged or Magic attacks.
According to the ruleset of the battle, all Monsters in this battle will have the Snipe Ability, and only Monsters with Magic attacks may be used.
First of all, I chose Immortalis as the summoner for this battle because thanks to it, all Monsters in my team will have Void Ability and Shatter Ability. In this battle, all monsters in the backline will target the Monster in the second position, so I didn't feel the need to include Taunt Ability in my lineup and instead put a Monster with high health in the second position.
In the second position I put Runemancer Florre, who has 13 Health and both 2 Ranged attacks and 2 Magic attacks. Also, since Runemancer Florre will have the Void Ability thanks to Immortalis, it will not be easy to destroy it, and I knew that having 2 types of attacks could disrupt the opponent's strategy. In this battle, all monsters will have the Snipe Ability, so I will put Ujurak Mystic, who has the Lookout Ability, in the third position next to Runemancer Florre, which means Runemancer Florre will receive 1 less damage from the enemies. Considering that Runemancer Florre will also have the Void Ability, dealing damage to it will not be easy at all, which is a very useful strategy in such battles. Additionally, to make Runemancer Florre even harder to destroy, I also included the Triage Ability in my lineup.
In the last position, I put Goblin Psychic, who has Tank Heal and Affliction Ability, in order for my strategy to work better, the Monster in the first position in my team had to not be destroyed, so I included Tank Heal Ability in my lineup.
Round 1
The opposing player's strategy was also pretty good, but I was surprised that they put Moxian Rebel with only 1 health in the first position, they may have thought that it wouldn't take any damage. Because the opposing team had a level 7 Goblin Psychic with Tank Heal, Affliction Ability and Silence Ability. Having a level 7 Goblin Psychic card in such a battle is a great advantage because the Silence Ability reduces the Magic Attack of all enemy Units by 1. My opponent recently made me realize that I need to level up my Goblin Psychic card to level 7. I wasn't surprised when the opposing player added the Lookout Ability to their lineup, as it's a very useful ability in this type of battle. My opponent may have thought that Moxian Rebel would not take any damage, which is exactly why I put Suidae Shaman with Recharge Ability in the first position.
Both the opposing player and I had a very strong defense against magic attacks, so in order to damage Mycelic Slipspawn and Runemancer Florre with magic attacks, it was necessary to hit them with at least 3 magic attacks.
Round 2
In the first round, Goblin Psychic applied affliction to Runemancer Florre, but it didn't matter much because the opposing team had no Monsters that could damage Runemancer Florre. Starting from the second round, Mycelic Slipspawn and Runemancer Florre were not taking any damage from Magic attacks, but Runemancer Florre's ranged attacks were causing Mycelic Slipspawn to take 1 damage, meaning that Mycelic Slipspawn would eventually be destroyed. Runemancer Florre's ability to attack with both Ranged and Magic attacks in every round disrupted the opposing player's strategy and allowed my team to achieve victory.
Round 10
It was not easy to destroy Mycelic Slipspawn, but its destruction was inevitable. Thanks to my opponent's powerful strategy, Mycelic Slipspawn was able to survive until the 10th round, but was finally destroyed. Since the other Monsters on the opposing team had less health, it wasn't too difficult to destroy them.
Round 16
The battle lasted 16 rounds, which shows that the opponent's strategy was also quite good, but my strategy worked better in this battle. At the end of the battle, while all the monsters on the opposing team were destroyed, all the monsters on my team were still alive. The most interesting thing was that despite the affliction being applied in the first round, Runemancer Florre still had 12 health at the end of the battle. In this battle, adding Runemancer Florre, who has both ranged and magic attacks, to my team disrupted the opponent's strategy and helped me win the battle easily even though it lasted 16 rounds. This is why I attach great importance to adding monsters with 2 types of attacks to my team in certain battles. In fact, Monsters with 2 types of attacks can be effective in many battles, but they can be much more effective in certain battles, , the battle above was one of the best examples of this. Also if my Runemancer Florre card was level 2 this battle wouldn't last this long so I aim to upgrade my Runemancer Florre card to level 2 as soon as possible so it will have +1 more ranged attack.
If you have any questions about abilities, rulesets, the battle above, and Splinterlands, please feel free to ask and I'll be happy to answer them.
