Hello everyone, Welcome to my Splinterlands Social Media Challenge post. In this post, I will talk about My Favorite Gladiator Katrelba Gobson and more, as well as an amazing battle. I hope it will be useful for you.
Katrelba Gobson has Bloodlust Ability, Sneak Ability and Double Strike Ability starting at level 1, Snare Ability starting at level 5, and Cripple Ability starting at level 9. Katrelba Gobson is a Common Gladiator Card in the Earth Unit from the Gladius edition and it costs 6 mana.
- Bloodlust Ability : This Unit revels in the glory of combat and becomes more dangerous as the battle goes on. Every time it defeats an opponent, it gets +1 to all stats.
- Sneak Ability : Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit.
- Double Strike Ability : This unit attacks twice each round.
- Snare Ability : When attacking enemies with Flying, removes the Flying ability and cannot miss.
- Cripple Ability : Each time an enemy is hit by a Unit with Cripple it loses one max health.
Lore
The eldest daughter of Rock Gobson, Katrelba, has gotten the city into trouble for the last time. Her last spree nearly resulted in a full-out war with the Centauri people of the north, who could easily use their astral magic to level the entire goblin city. Luckily, the centaurs are more forgiving than goblins, so when Katrelba (while flying high on poppypoof) desecrated their most sacred shrine with a band of her unruly cronies (also flying high on poppypoof), she was grudgingly released by Kron the Undying without a fight. Still, a band of Centauri messengers brought the Gobson patriarch a stern warning two days later that led him to send the reckless daughter across the sea. Knowing how tough and formidable in combat his eldest daughter was, Rock Gobson decided to enlist her as a Gladiator. It was his hope that Katrelba could be someone else's problem for a while.
Katrelba Gobson is a very powerful Gladiator with very powerful abilities and can be very effective in battles, I can say that it can be much more effective when used with a good strategy, even against very powerful cards. Katrelba Gobson is my most used and favorite card because it can help me win even the toughest battles. Even when I'm matched up against very strong teams and in battles where it's nearly impossible for me to win, Katrelba Gobson gives me a way to win. When I review the recent 5 battles of my opponents, I understand that I cannot win the battle if they have very powerful cards and sometimes I even want to click the Surrender button, but if I have a chance to use my Katrelba Gobson card in the battle, I never surrender because if I have Katrelba Gobson on my team, I always have a chance to win the battle.
Katrelba Gobson's low health is the only disadvantage in my opinion, because if the target has the Thorns Ability, it can be easily destroyed. Also, since it has low health, it can be targeted by Opportunity Monsters. However, since Katrelba Gobson has the Bloodlust Ability, it can become more dangerous as the battle goes on, so if opponents cannot destroy it early in the battle, it becomes much harder to deal with it. That's why I pay great attention to Katrelba Gobson not being a target for enemies early in the battle, and when I add Katrelba Gobson to my team, I also include the Taunt Ability in my lineup or add Units with lower health to my team so that it is not a target for enemies early in the battle. Also, I definitely put Katrelba Gobson in the middle positions and also give it +2 armor with the Protect Ability so that it becomes harder to destroy. Katrelba Gobson is a very tough and formidable Gladiator indeed.
Let's examine Katrelba Gobson in battle. To show why Katrelba Gobson is my favorite and how useful she can be in battles, I will talk about my toughest battles below, I hope you enjoy it.
- Standard: No change to standard gameplay rules or mechanics.
Before determining my strategy, when I reviewed the recent 5 battles of the opponent player, I saw that they had very powerful cards, to be honest, my chances of winning were very low, but I could win this battle with Katrelba Gobson, so I would add it to my team without hesitation and based my strategy on it.
I put Katrelba Gobson in the fifth position and adjacent to it I put Monsters with the Martyr Ability. I also included the Protect Ability in my lineup so that all Monsters in my team will have +2 extra armor, armor may be very useful in many battles, especially against Melee and Ranged attackers. I also included the Inspire Ability in my lineup so Katrelba Gobson can attack targets more powerfully. Additionally, my linup also has the Blind Ability, so that all enemy Melee and Ranged attacks will be a 15% higher chance of missing their target. Blind Ability is really useful against Melee and Ranged attacks. If the mana cap was was +6 more, I would also include Taunt Ability in my lineup.
Round 1
The opposing team was very powerful as I expected, and fighting and winning against cards like Level 4 Mantaroth and Level 4 Venka the Vile is not easy at all, but fortunately I knew I would be fighting against them, which is why I put great emphasis on reviewing my opponents' recent battles before determining my strategy.
In the first round, the enemy team's attacks were much more effective, but Katrelba Gobson destroyed Soul Fiend twice, thus getting +1 to all stats twice, and now it became more dangerous for the enemies.
Round 2
Mantaroth and Venka the Vile's attacks were truly brutal, but Katrelba Gobson's attacks were even more brutal, destroying both Adelade Brightwing and Venka the Vile in the second round.
Round 3
In the third round, Katrelba Gobson also destroyed Gargoya Scrapper and Mantaroth destroyed Fungus Flinger, and Katrelba Gobson got +1 to all stats twice.
Round 4
In the fourth round, Mantaroth destroyed Venari Marksrat, but now it only had 2 armor and 4 health left, meaning it could be destroyed in the next round.
Round 5
And in the fifth round, Katrelba Gobson also destroyed Mantaroth and my team managed to win the battle against a very powerful team.
The battle lasted five rounds and at the end of the battle, it was noteworthy that Katrelba Gobson had 11 Melee, 11 Speed, 2 Armor and 8 Health, and she also almost single-handedly destroyed all the enemies on the opposing team, which is exactly why I love Katrelba Gobson so much. With Katrelba Gobson I can find a way to win even the toughest battles, the battle above was an example of that, I am very lucky to have such a card. By the way, the Katrelba Gobson card can only be obtained from Gladius cases. Finally, I would like to say that I would like to add Mantaroth and Venka the Vile cards to my deck in the future because they are really powerful.
