Hope we all are well. Today I’ll like to talk about how my journey has been on hive. How I discovered hive and how I was able to get to this point.
Well, anyone who knows me will know blockchain is not a new thing to me. Hive is not the first blockchain that I’ve been on but I must say that Hive is the blockchain that I’ve enjoyed being on most. At the moment am only on one blockchain and I think I’ll be here for a long time.
I am a student and as a student, you’ll always try to get a side hustle to help you whiles you are in the university. Whiles I was in the university I was looking for things to do to earn something to at least support my needs and wants. I tried freelancing at first on Upwork. Freelancing is applying for a job online but you’ll do that work in a specified time for pay. You can transcribe YouTube videos for a client, type for a client, build a website for a client and many more all on Upwork.
I signed up on Upwork and boy it was difficult in the beginning. I searched on youtube how I could get my first job and all but then it didn’t work out. I never got any job offers on up work up until today. In the year 2021, I was introduced to blockchain by a friend. I didn’t believe a user could write on a blockchain and also get paid in crypto. I was a crypto enthusiast but didn’t know a lot about cryptocurrency so it was very hard for me to believe.
It took a lot of convincing for me to finally join blockchain. After I year later I was persuaded by Zology ( a lot of people know him as Depressedfuckup) to leave and come to Hive. He didn’t have to talk to me too much as I already knew about hive and how the blockchain works.
So I opened an account last year and since then I’ve been thriving. The first few months were damn hard, I had to struggle for attention and all that. Am not there yet but at least it is better than first. The experience I’ve gotten from the hive blockchain is unbelievable.
One thing I’ve grown to love about Hive is the Hive games. Am not a lover of games but I do love play and earn games. Currently am playing S&S and also terracore. I joined a few days ago but if am not mistaken I’ve been playing S&S for close to a month now.
I’ve realised that when you wanna thrive on hive you have to make yourself seem. The only way you can make yourself seen is by interacting with others. Eventually, it will pay off. For some, it will require a short time but for others, it will take time but it will work out.
If you are not a gamer on hive yet I’ll entreat you to try out the games on hive. There are a lot of exciting games which will get you engaged. I play terracore and S&S and am planning to add a few more to the collection soon.
