When Your Phone Betrays You

It’s been a refreshing weekend for most people; for people who have work on Mondays actually. For people who are self employed they are not thinking of what Monday has to offer cause weekdays and weekends might feel the same to them.

Way long before I had a mobile device I always wondered how people claimed that they diaper someone’s like by mistake . To me it was always a dumb lie that adults gave people as an excuse if they didn’t want to talk to them after dialing their numbers. This looks like a dumb reason why I thought the elders were lying as well but it’s the case lol. I was just a child and naive as well.

Fast forward to adulthood and then I am seeing or realising how naive I really was. The thing is as kids we tend to think that adults like about a lot of things until we get there.

So there is actually this friend of mine which I’ve decided to stop calling. As for him no matter how hard the country seems to be treating all of us for some reason he always thinks that I have money. I don’t know what I’ve done or what he has seen but he thinks that I always have money lying around to dash out to people. So because of that it has become hard to call him even when I see his missed call.

But for some weird reason I mistakenly called him the last time. I say it’s a weird because of the circumstances under which I called. I woke up and realized that while in my sleep I called him. I don’t know how I took my phone and the only person I could call was him lol. What did I say to him? I think there’s no explanation to that.

I had to lie about calling him to ask about something but then I’ve already gotten the answer. It was so awkward cause I had refused to call him and neither was I picking up his calls. Calling him later that night might have felt to him like I needed help which I had to make him understand that I didn’t and I was ok.

Surprisingly he didn’t ask me for money so ever since then I actually pick his calls until he starts again.
