Hello again with another sculpt of the day. My goal is to sculpt everyday to improve my sculpting skills. I stream almost everyday at 21:00 ~ 23:00 GMT+3 to showcase what my design process is. If you want to catch me go to my twitch channel and follow.
The image below is from Michael Vicente's artstation page. His works on heroes of the storm is phenomenal. I am using his free zbrush brushes ( orb ) I really like his stylized sculptures i am trying to find my own style. Meanwhile using this as a reference to study his art and add something my own. This is the result. I generally use references as a starting point and wont sculpt exactly as the reference but this is an exception for the statue head. I want to see the challenges he faces , and try to come up with solutions of my own while sculpting the head.
References should be more from nature and less from other artists as you grow. Learning from good artists' work and study them is an important part of the journey.
