"Watching the fish swim away from me, I feel so devastated. I feel like I don't deserve to eat a fish with the way they run away from me. Those meanie fishes!"
It's amazing how a cat can make a face like they are pouring all of their emotions for their hoomans to feel pity on them. They will make a sad face, like their hoomans are not feeding them well. And when they finally get what they want, they will just walk away from us, like we didn't give them some love and cat food. "Like, come on, cat! Give me some thank-you kisses here." But no! They will just turn their backs on us and proceed to flirt with some cats like we don't exist. They only act well when they want something from us ರ_ರ, like seriously!.
But try to do the same with them, we will receive a longgg "meow" like we are their lowly servant who will only follow what they ask and will give them what they need. Try to ignore them, and they'll never stop bothering you. That's how it feels to have a cat at home. How about you, cat servant? How's your master? I bet they are just sleeping on their comfy bed, cleaning their bodies.
Anyway, our cat is kind of like that, but we don't tolerate that kind of behavior. Although we give in sometimes to their bothersome method, most of the time we choose not to do it. And I find better ways for our cats to turn their attention to other things. Like this one here, he is Barak. I call him Bara-chi sometimes, haha, because, why not? I find it cute and sweet.
Bara-chi is a hyper kid who has more energy in his body. He gets to be louder too, especially if he wants to call the attention of his hooman, he won't stop I tell yah! He will do anything just so we will notice, even if he has to follow us around wherever we go. It's okay if he will just follow us, he can go meow loudly and make it louder, but it's different if he will just jump up out of nowhere and scratch us in the process.
You see, he has this habit of sneaking while our backs are on their faces and we are busy with our phones. He will just jump at us, not just in our t-shirts but in our necks and sometimes in our heads, haha. Imagine the pain from his nails while leaving our neck or back a long scratch, it's really painful you would cry. That sneaky snake, lol.
So I think of a way to avoid his sneaky attack, haha. Whenever I notice his presence in my back, I will call him and make him follow me in Mama's backyard. By doing that, I can focus his attention on other things and avoid drawing his attention to me. In his case, it's like an exploration because he can discover some things in the backyard. He can play in there, jump everywhere, or even climb up somewhere. He can do that in there, which is good for him. Sometimes I can make him follow, but sometimes I can't.
Looking good there, my little man (◍•ᴗ•◍). And this is one of those rare times that he followed me here. Look at him already climbing up on his part. He is just looking around while seeing the green in the place. He can also go hunting for chicken, but of course I stop him before even doing that. I'll be dead if Mama checks, and some of her chick goes missing, lol. But it's a good exercise, because while doing that, I also need to follow him around while he is following the chickens.
Changing positions, he jumps down on this old plastic chair here, and he is watching the chickens running around this spot. I'm not sure what he's thinking, but he's probably playing on their neck in his mind already, lol.
I let him be like this, and my phone and hand were ready to take a good shot of him. And I love all these shots because his handsomeness is showing, as is his naughtiness, lol. He can be really playful, but he is sweet. I just wish he would reduce the hyperness, lol. But well, a cat is a cat, and it's in their nature already, no choice, no? But to accept it, haha.
But anyway, I enjoy my short stroll with him in the backyard, and that's what's important. We had fun, we enjoyed it, and got scared too with the dog - I mean, him, lol. The dog is barking at him, so he is being extra careful here. Though he knows to fight when it's needed, haha. They don't get along that well -that is, only when the cat is in the dog's territory. They get along well, though, if they are in the cat's place. Like seriously. Our dog is a backstabber, lol.
What a fun day with you Barak ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ.
