We had an appointment last Tuesday, and that's why we visited Pinamalayan again. The meeting time is at 2 p.m., but we arrived earlier than the set time. It really has become a habit now, you know, to arrive earlier at the meeting place because, as Mommy F said, it's better that we wait rather than let the other side wait for us. She gets super annoyed when the person she had to meet is late, but that's not enough reason for her to do the same. So, no matter what, she will always arrive 30 minutes or even an hour earlier than the set meeting time.
I can't do what Mommy F does to forgive those kinds of people. Although it's not a big deal to some, it is to me. It's not like I don't have other uses for my free time, you know, that I can just waste on waiting for someone who doesn't give a F about my own time. So if the person I'm about to meet is so late, I'll surely do the same at our next meeting. At least they can also experience how it is to wait, it's give and take ╮(^▽^)╭. Now have a taste of that, lolol. Are you that kind of person? Or are you always on time, or if not, earlier than the set time?
Anyway, that's really not our topic today. As I've said, I went to Pinamalayan for an appointment with my mama. And because we still have a lot of time to spare, we decided to stroll in the park. And actually, we really just want to get some fresh air because it is so hot that day. So a place with lots of trees, plants, and flowers is the perfect place for that. And good news, we found a shortcut to reach the park faster. Why didn't we try this path before ಥ‿ಥ? It's perfect because we are not exposed to Mr. Sunny's blazing heat compared to if we took the normal route. Aigoii. It's a good find I like it very much, hehe.
I am not sure if this is private property, but we saw a few people taking this route, so we just followed them. And from this exit, we only have to walk a few more minutes in a blazing sun to reach the park. Awesomeness! If we take the normal route, it'll surely take us more minutes, and worse, we have to walk in the middle of the scorching heat of the sun, aguy.
We arrived at the park, and we saw a few people. Some were just sitting, maybe they were also resting or maybe waiting for someone. There's actually a program going on in the gym not far from our spot, but I didn't bother checking because I am more interested in the bees, birds, flowers, and trees. We are so lucky because we had lot's of trees servinf as our umbrella, hihi. So we take our time resting here, with Mama looking around while sitting and me walking a little to take some photos. While we're in this spot, though, we stumble upon three stray kittens. They are siblings, I think. But they are kind of unfriendly ( ꈍᴗꈍ), or maybe they are checking first to see if we are good people. └|∵|┐♪
Anyhow, I saw some people on the other side of the road here, and I think they were eating something. I therefore conclude that we can find yummy foods there. So I dragged Mama with me because I was already hungry at that time. And I've been craving Turon, and I want to check if they have it here. Lucky for us, they really have food stalls here, and they have Turon, they also have Banana Cue and Camote Cue, and "kutkutin," like spicy and not spicy peanuts. On the next stalls, they have Chicken Pie, Buko Pie, and Siomai.
All these foods cost us 104 PHP, or $1.79. The Turon costs 15 PHP, Camote Cue is 20 PHP, Siomai is 25 PHP, Chicken Pie is 22 PHP, and Buko Pie is 22 PHP as well. Despite the small size of those pies, they are heavier, and they really taste great. Same with Camote Cue, the Turon has an overripe banana, it'll be better if they use the not-overly-ripe one. The siomai is so meaty, I really love the combination of soy sauce and calamansi with fried garlic.
By the way, it is not just me and Mama who ate those foods because, as I said in my title, "we have company," and that company was actually these cuties. They are so tiny and malnourished, no? From being shy to feeling close! Mama called them to feed them, at first, they were really hesitant. So Mama throws some camote cue. I think it's because they are really hungry that they just choose to eat anything. Mama also threw a small piece of chicken pie, and I gave them siomai, and they really ate it. That's when I thought that I should've brought cat food with me. I didn't think of that.
But we are happy to say that, at least they're able to eat even a little. I hope some people feed them too, if ever they see them in the park. And we had a fun stay in the park, and with a background music title: Meow Meow! Lol (≧▽≦) its a good music.
