I just finished watching the latest episode of "Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything With Low Level Spells," and the whole time I'm watching it, I feel like I am watching a recorded online game with a player playing and controlling it. I don't like it, it's like that anime, KamiKatsu. I didn't finish this anime and I dropped it because of that and I can't really understand much it's story.
But this one, well, I stayed because I like the story. I also like the MC, though I sooooooo hate the other characters, especially that goddess who summoned them out of nowhere. She's a b/tch! And my frustration every time she appears is just too much. I hate her voice too, she really sounds like a b/tch, its like her voice fits in as a bad character. Well, the VA did great, but I really hate the character.
This anime was released this year's summer season. It is still ongoing, but there is only one episode left. And the theme is Isekai, one of my favorites. I really love Isekai, be it in manhwa or anime. It is also packed with good actions, which I like too. The anime started with a kid being abused by his own father, kicking him nonstop while he can only cry, as he is still a child.
Then there's a time skip, and he becomes a high schooler. And the reason he became who he is today will be shown in a later episode. Like who rescued him from his abusive father and more. And what happened to him during his childhood will also affect him big time, still, kindness is still there. Im just glad that he was rescued though and was able to live a normal life.
Then there's this scene where they are in a bus together with his j3rks and b/tches classmates (some of them) when suddenly they're transported or summoned by a b/tch called Vysis. I refuse to call her Goddess! She's a conniving and manipulative character. Like seriously, there's a lot of sh*ty characters in this anime, I just want to emphasize that. I really hate this kind, like why you summoned them, and when they find one not useful, they will disregard them, even kill them.
Anyways I really like the MC's power here. It is powerful, but he still had a hard time fighting some foe. And he has brain too, he has his own tactics, and I really like that. Although I can't take the weird-looking beast, the story alone is enough to make me stay. Along the way on his journey, he found good allies, very far from his classmates who came to their own world.
It should be a fellow countryman who he should rely on, but sadly, the opposite happened. He teams up with the people in the other world and on different races. This is also very similar to Arifureta. I also like this anime. Both wanted revenge too. Yep, it's revenge that the MC wants in Failure Frame. Especially for that so-called goddess. She deserved it! I'm wishing a really brutal death for her, ಥ_ಥ.
And I want to see that put into action. I want to see her beg for her own life this time, ahhh, I can't wait! She's on my top two hated goddesses in the Isekai anime series, that Vysis. My first is that sh*tty goddess or bug according to Makoto, it's Megamibtch!
Have you already watched Failure Frame? I can't say I want to recommend it. But maybe try first and see it for yourself. I'll give it 7.3 out of 10. It's a OK.
