I'm not really that close to my older brother, although we talk, we are never really the kind who shows what we felt. We just show it through our actions, and that's it. I remember him as a boy with lots of mischief when we're young. Imagine he puts a red chili on Pop's water, they are like the best enemies to each other. Both hated each other's guts. I understand them, but how I wish they were just a normal father and son who love each other and show it in different ways. But Pops left the world, and I am not sure if they're able to resolve their issues, and I never asked my older brother. Aigoooo. ಥ‿ಥ
Anyway, yesterday, I didn't see that mischief anymore to my brother. All I see is a doting father who loves his kids very much, he spoils them a lot. We really changed a lot already. We became kinder to each other too. He's a responsible dad to his kids and even a responsible son to Mama. When she asked for cash from my brother because she's out of budget anymore, she didn't need to ask twice as long as he had money. Seriously, where did my "bad" brother go? Lol. Well, I think what really changes him is his family. She also has a very loving wife, which is, by the way, my friend and classmate during college. I am actually the one who introduced them to each other, lolol.
So in the afternoon, after having our lunch, we then started our travel. It rained a lot yesterday, and we didn't have an umbrella. Still, we have a cap, so we're saved! And lookie-lookie at that big creamy white outside. He really wants to come with us and even tried to hop in, but too bad he can't really come, lol. So he just watched us go.
So we arrived in Gloria, the venue. But we have to make another trip to reach their house. There's a terminal of a tricycle outside, so we're able to ride in a tricycle immediately. We can't really remember anymore Lyn's house (the brother's wife) because it's been a long time since we last visited them. But thanks to the tricycle driver, we arrived safe and sound and without getting lost, lol. Everyone's so busy, from putting up decorations and cooking. We wish we could help, but we really don't know much about this kind of thing. We'll just get in the way for sure ಥ‿ಥ.
Seriously, on every occasion, they have something like this. While we don't give much thought when it comes to the occasion that passes our hand. They are like experts, and we're the hopeless - HAHAHAHA. Well, they are like a village of a bunch of families here, so that's to be expected. They have a bigger family than us. There's a lot of kids too, and for someone who loves peace and quiet places, this is like hell! Lol. But still, that didn't stop me from enjoying this moment. Instead of getting annoyed, I just decided to play with the kids. And seriously, I love how sweet and active my two nieces and nephews are ( ◜‿◝ )♡.
Their oldies can't entertain us, so it's like it is the kids who did that for us. And I love it. I may be awkward with kids, but I'll be more awkward for sure if it's the adults that entertain us. Lol. And my two nieces are not shy anymore, OMG! And that's why we had a lot of talk with them with a little bit of teasing, hihi. But shouting and screaming was everywhere too, the kids loved to do that. They are so full of energy, even jumping in high places, aigoooo. My heart is about to jump out of my chest. But looking back, we used to do this too. Lol. Now I know what the adults felt too, back then, we often get scolded by them (≧▽≦), lol.
By the way, here's the cake and the cupcakes for my niece. It was customized, but Lyn didn't like it and actually had regrets, as the cake was really not that good. And it is small too. It's better to just buy in Goldilocks or Bread and Butter, I told her, but it's already too late. But either way, the kids still enjoy it, I think? └|∵|┐♪.
And then Pia, she's really excited. She's excited to wear her dress and to open the gifts for her as in the whole thing. I am so glad we made her happy, maybe the reason why parents want to prepare something for their kids is because of this, to see joy and excitement on a child's face ( ◜‿◝ )♡.
Then the program started, it was the "7 of something," 7 gifts, 7 bills, 7 footwear, and more. I like this part, but I hate the part that I need to say something for Pia in front of so many people and with a mic. But, thanks heaven, I was able to do it. I'll be the spoilsport if I don't do it. I just wished her a simple "Happy Birthday" without looking at the crowd. And so I survived!
Mama and Mommy F have to say their piece too. Mama was able to do it, but Mommy F didn't say anything because she cried! Oh my goodness. I had to follow her inside to check on her. I saw her taking amlodipine again because she said she couldn't stop crying. I'm sure she's really just happy that she was able to attend this joyful moment and celebration of her grandkid and with her legs not getting on the way. ┏(^0^)┛
Because the program started a bit late, we couldn't finish the program as it's getting dark already. And the rain started again. And we're from Bansud and has to travel a bit far to get home. It'll be hard to find a transportation vehicle if we stay there a bit longer. We didn't even eat in there, but my brother and Lyn's parents prepared some foods for us. The celebration goes on eveb without js, and we just wish that Pia really enjoyed her day. \(^o^)/
We arrived home hungry and so wet, lol. We didn't change clothes and just proceeded on having dinner, lol. Mommy D, by the way, couldn't attend because she had to visit her sister in Langgang too woth the other sister. So it is just me, mama, and mommy F. Yesterday's really so much for us. I get to see the kids, and we get to see my brother too. It's really like a small reunion. I wish my little brother is in there too. Too bad he's in Batangas right now (个_个). But well, there's always a next time ┏(^0^)┛.
