It's 2 in the afternoon yesterday when Mama asked me to accompany her to the little market, a few minutes away from home. It's near the Bansud Bridge, according to Mama, and even though I'm from Bansud, I'm not sure where that Bansud Bridge is. Lol. I mean, I know it, but I can't really remember it now because it's been a long time. I still remember when we used to take a dip in the river below that bridge. I was still young then, so it's really been that long.
By the way, the little market in Bansud Bridge is actually a vendor that sells different kinds of fish and seafoods. Their first location was just near our house before, and they open every afternoon. It's more advantageous for us because it's nearby, and we can easily walk there to buy fresh fish at a cheaper price, unlike in the main market. Unfortunately, they moved again into a different spot because of some jealous people (ꈍᴗꈍ). Jealousy is really a bad disease ╮(^▽^)╭.
So anyways, Mama asked me to accompany her here, and she didn't have to ask twice. I actually want to see it too, that little market, and aside from that, I want to see Bansud Bridge and the river, as it's really been a long time. I may not be able to take a dip in there anymore, but I can just reminisce while waiting for Mama. Yep, that's a good plan, no? But then, we saw a thrift shop on our way to the little market (ꈍᴗꈍ). And we had to stop and check on them.
We stayed there for like 20 minutes, checking and trying clothes. I got a new pair of shorts and one black shirt. My wallet is crying, but my heart is happy (ꈍᴗꈍ). And the money I used there is supposed to be used to pay for electricity bills, hehe (≧▽≦). Sh*t! I got them for 200 pesos, the shirt and denim short are 50 pesos each, while the other one is 100 pesos. A good deal, no? But what about the fish? Lol.
Here it is, we're on our way there already. It's hot, Mr. Sunny is still up and spreading it's warmth in Poblacion. I am happy about it because I was able to wash a new batch of my dirty clothes. But because I have three new clothes, I have another batch to wash (≧▽≦). I'll just do it when I'm free. And that's Mama enjoying the cute bamboo leaves.
We don't have an umbrella, but I have a cap, and as you can see, Mama is not wearing a cap. But she said the heat is still bearable for her. So we continue with our walk. And you know, I've been living here for 30 years, but I never once walked on this part of Poblacion. I saw this place already, but only from afar, when we visit Bongabong and we are riding in a vehicle. So this is like my first walk here.
And the view here is actually not bad. I'm so glad to see that there's a lot of trees too on this part of Bansud. BTW, this is the main road here. The highway is literally just in front of us, so we have to be careful and have to walk on the side always.
There's a small walkway here meant for people. Actually, this was much wider before. There's even a railing too, but now they are gone. And the main road is much wider now than before. It's super wide, but I don't know why the wider it gets, the more accidents happen.
And another thing, during our walk here, I get to learn a new path that we never took before. I told Mama that I want to try taking that path, but she also doesn't know where that path may lead us, so she said no, lol.
We're nearing the Little Market when Mama decided to turn back. She saw the stalls on those fish vendors, and she said, There's no fish or whatever. It's really far, and I'm surprised she can see it from here. Lol.
And here we are on our way home. Like, I didn't see the little market, which is the main reason why I accompany Mama (≧▽≦).
But still, I get to enjoy this walk, even for a short time. And not to mention we discover a thrift shop on our way, so it's not bad.
Maybe we'll just try another time, visiting that little market. ┏(^0^)┛
