Welcome to a country were education is more demanding on the educators and not the educated. I am a teacher in a school in my country and I find it hard to teach more than to be thought, I am not talking about the sleepless night or the stress that comes with teaching in class. I am talking about the type of educational system we practice.
Sometimes I don't think it's the educational system I think it's how we don't have a specific system. We copy from so many developed countries that we don't have a standard specific to our nation. I was amazed when I saw that if cars are to be produced in other countries they will be checked to see if they are within the countries standard.
The fact that schools within the same country and region or local government will have different standards. All on the bases of them wanting to be the best. This strive for the best creates competition and in so doing create an environment were school practice what try want.
At the very end the staff face it more than the student.
