Updates on 3Speak - web-app-bug-fixed
- @mcfarhat (from @actifit), reported an issue that videos were not working for a specific user.
- I looked into the issue on the front-end of 3Speak web-app.
- After fixing the issue, tested it locally, raised PR, merged it to main, deployed, tested on production.
- After testing on production, finding that the issue is resolved, I informed about the issue fixed.
Updates on 3Speak - studio - removed minimum video length check
- @mcfarhat (from @actifit) also reported that video-length based restriction should be lifted.
- After getting approval on it from @starkerz, I applied a fix for removing the video-length-based-restriction.
- Tested it, raised PR, merged it & deployed it on production of creator-studio.
- About this change, I informed both @mcfarhat from team @actifit & @good-karma from team @ecency.
Hive Distrion App
- I am working on new APIs for Hive Distrion.
- While adding a business using API, we need to check for several attributes of request body.
- Initially, I added manual check for each & every attribute from request body.
- Later, I realised that, there is a better approach for achieving it.
- I came accross this library called "joi"
- With
joi, you can explain request body json-schema in very easy & readable language. - You can find it here - https://github.com/hapijs/joi
- If you are an expert on this, please let me know if I'm doing something wrong.
Hive Power up Gift Report
- I support several contests hosted by different communities.
- I reward them with Hive-Power-up for the contribution that they have made on communities on Hive.
- We keep transferring portion of hive power to different users on Hive for encouraging them for their contribution on Hive.

- I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
- Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
- On 2024-05-27, 3Speak published total 117 videos.
- My video encoder nodes encoded 98 videos from 117 videos published.
- It means, my encoder nodes encoded 83.76 % of total videos published on 2024-05-27
