Updates on Project Distriator
Improvements & Bug fixes in reports
- Radio buttons
- We used to have a switch in the center to switch the graphs which was confusing UX.
- We replaced it with radio button for more clarity.
- Counts as int values
- Reports showing counts doesn't need float value.
- We fixed this issue for all reports.
- Sorted descending for Count graphs
- All reports with HBD values were sorted
- However, reports with counts were also sorted with HBD values.
- We addressed this issue & all the count reports are now sorted properly.
Oops!
- After adding improvments & fixing bugs listed above, we decided to ship.
- And just before going bed, we gave a last try on production.
- And! Oops! It failed on production.
Fallback ! Rollback!
- We immediately rolled back changes
- Thanks to Google's Firebase hosting, we were in positing to roll back in minutes without doing anything other than just one click.
- We'll attempt to ship again tomorrow after thorough testing.

- I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
- Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
- On 2024-09-08, 3Speak published total 198 videos.
- My video encoder nodes encoded 183 videos from 198 videos published.
- It means, my encoder nodes encoded 92.42 % of total videos published on 2024-09-08
