Hello to all of you guys! How are you guys doing? I hope well.
My today’s illustration is more like for the daydreamers and I am ashamed to tell you this that I am a maladaptive daydreamer. Also, guys do you remember when I told you guys last time in my 2D floating island post that I am learning point of perspective. Well, I tried it in this illustration so let’s begin.
Look at what I made, a cute little blob of grass. It’s weird I know but I find it cute. Anyways, I did this using the 'salty watercolor' tool.
This is where I used the point of perspective to try visualizing a 3D image and here is something I want to say about it. I GIVE UP. I can’t deal with the point of perspective view. It makes my mind spin. I just can’t. Let’s go to the next part.
Here I added some windows and a door so let’s go next.
This is where we guys find a dreamer. Yes, I drew a dreamer sitting on the roof. Hehe!
Here I made huge smoke clouds coming out from the vent, I did this using a 'bleeding watercolor brush' to draw this.
A dreamer needs a fantasy she is dreaming about and so I decided to draw a dragon as part of her fantasy. Yes, I know this doesn’t look anything like a dragon. Trust the process, buddy, trust the process.
See! I did the fins and scales of the dragon so now it looks close to a dragon right? I also did a little shading to give it a more detailed look. It looks like a water dragon now, maybe.
Of course without the eyes and a little whisker, how could it be complete.
This is the end part, here I added a few more clouds so that it can blend with the other clouds. And that’s it for today. I hope you guys enjoyed my today’s post. Bye-bye for now. See you guys in the next post. Ta-ta!
