My journey to the Sundanese cultural village of Paseban.

in #hive-163772last year

Hello everyone, this time I will be traveling to Paseban, a village located on Jl Tegal Luhur, Cilember, Megamendung, Bogor Regency, West Java. Indonesia

As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a small, but quite neat and beautiful road, which gave me many good memories while I was there. This trip was an unforgettable adventure, giving me many fond memories of my time there. This is a narrow road that leads to a Sundanese cultural village. I arrived here early in the morning. Upon arriving at this location, I felt a strong sense of peace within me.

As I started to enter it through the gate seen in front of it, a statue of a woman at a small crossroads looked quite interesting.

According to the banner, this is the main entrance to Paseban village and is accessible to the general public. In other words, the door of this Sundanese cultural village is open to everyone.

The library building is the first building I see here, and the parking lot for cars and motorcycles is located right in front of it. as shown in the picture below.

Two-wheeled vehicle and motorcycle parking area.

Not only are we allowed to park motorcycles in the area in front of the library, but we are also allowed to park cars there without paying a fee.

A sentence that reads, Sundanese Cultural Village Paseban Nature and Culture, is written on this pamphlet made of teak wood, as can be seen in the picture below.

This parking lot is spacious enough to park our car or motorcycle, as shown in the picture in the previous post.

A wooden seat and table are located in the backyard, to the right of the bale house.

We can relax by sitting on the wooden chairs, but I prefer to explore this area and take some photos while here.

Now let's take a look at two nearby swimming pools.

The pond appears to be very clean and is surrounded by small rocks.

When I was here, I noticed that there were 2 ponds. The first was surrounded by small rocks, and the second was right in front of me. However, I want to show this to you more clearly, so let's look at the pools of water I saw in more detail.

For adults, the water in each of these two pools is one and a half meters deep. and a range of 40 to 60 cm, which is designed for children. On the bottom left, as I wrote in the picture.

Now let's take a look at the dragon cleaver kris made by Kanjeng Kyai Birawa.

This 13-meter-long, 1.4-ton dragon dagger is made of stone. According to locals, this dragon machete is the largest and longest machete ever made. It was made in 2016, but Sundanese people now use it as a cultural decoration.

I came across statues of Indonesian independence heroes while strolling through this Sundanese cultural village. They are depicted sitting quietly, conversing with each other, and appear quite small.

I carved the names of the heroes on each statue so that we can know more about who they really were.

Starting with the names of Tan Malaka, Ir. Moh, Soekarno, Ir. Hatta and Syahrir Sutan. They were all Indonesian freedom fighters, and in this Sundanese cultural village, replicas of their statues stand to commemorate their services. Young people like me are deeply moved by their fortitude and shrewdness in defending the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, also known as NKRI, and are greatly inspired by them.

Actually there is still a lot I want to show you when I come to this Pasebean village.I hope that by sharing my brief experience of visiting the Sundanese cultural village in Paseban, you can all get a sense of how unique this place is. I appreciate you taking the time to hear about my trip.

See you when I return.
