The only Way to Retrieve Wasted Time is to Stop Wasting Time + Overcoming Procrastination

Hi friends, how's your day going, hope it's going on well. It's usually said that time waits for nobody. That's true because no one can turn the hands of time backwards. Officially time is defined as the continued sequence of existence and events that occurs in an apparently irreversible succession from the past, through the present, into the future.Source With the above definition, you could figure out the word irreversible which means that life and time is progressing and not retrogressive in nature. If you've wasted a lot of time already, it's time to redeem the time by forgetting about the past and take all the necessary steps to us your time wisely. Greetings from @salvadornkpara.

Imagine that there was one simple truth which have existed even before the arrival of human - it could make or mar him, it's like a little insect that destroys the whole perfume. Imagine if it was so powerful that people who want to control and overpower you would go to great lengths to make sure you never notice that it exists. Well, there is - and you've always known about it, but due to misinformation and misplacement of priorities, it has crippled the dreams and aspirations of many and that is Time. Attempts at controlling time have failed because time is always on the run waiting for nobody. Maybe you're still young - you probably haven't ever realised just how far time flies!

There is one thing everyone existing in the world today have in common and that's equal Day and Equal Night tied in a duration of 24 hours. Some utilizes their 24 hours very well by putting it into work (researching, experimenting and also resting when the need arises), while others used it but fails to see the opportunities that surrounds time. Opportunity they said come but once, but I say opportunity is always there but lazy people failed to identify it. For instance, people are crying and seeking for White collar jobs in Nigeria, but failed to look at other means of survival claiming that those other means are below their qualification. I've heard so many motivational speakers saying that the only difference between the rich and the poor is how they utilize their time. If we want to retrieve wasted time, we must place it in mind that time waits for nobody. This key detail to our own personal reality is so powerfully all encompassing that if we truly integrate it into our every day thought process correctly, we find our entire self is much more relaxed and also able to create more freely and effectively, in life, the things we need and desire.

As we abandon childhood and adolescence to embrace the realities of adulthood and the responsibilities that accompanies it, we'll begin to know that we've limited time in front of us. The more we approach our exit point in life, the more we realize the opportunities we've missed while we're still in our prime. Every life experience we have gives us a profound perspective on who we are, but it also enables us to understand that it is possible for us to manifest 'things', people and events in our life based only on the desires, thoughts and emotions that we are holding (and thus resonating and vibrating into creation).

In short, if we understand the reality that life itself is short, I'll respond to and reflect about the importance of every minutes that we waste by doing nothing to utilize the little time we have here in earth to achieve greater goals that we place before ourselves from birth till death do us part. We must reflect on our own state of consciousness and choice of thoughts/emotions/intentions, then our ability to experience our own power is heavily limited by our own thoughts and emotions about the topic of redeeming wasted time itself.

If we perceive we are disconnected from everything, then we are effectively 'painting' that version of reality into our own life. We will convince ourselves that we are disconnected and there is nothing that can be done about it. If, however, we perceive that we have limited time in earth, then we must be in alliance with everything that exists, knowing the areas that'll help us achieve more and shun the areas that are unprofitable, then it's possible to achieve our desired goals.

So if the success you experience in life is a reflection of how you managed your time and set your priorities aright as well as the way you balance your mental health and emotions - it follows that it's more important to explore how to balance yourself than it is to 'get an education' or a career - or even money.

It turns out that you can't balance yourself without understanding yourself. You need to understand your strength and weakness in order to engage the parts of you that need help or to find balance in a way that actually results in that happening.

The spirit of Procrastination
One of the thing that helps us waste our precious time in life is the spirit of procrastination of which everyone is a slave to in one way or the other. You can be very effective and efficient in one area of your life but in the other you'll keep procrastinating. If you calculate the amount of time wasted through procrastination, you'll realize that over 10 years of your life have been wasted in that area. I know that my estimation might not be true, but looking at the level of procrastination you'll see that we're really wasting our time here on earth.

The only way to defeat procrastination is to stop procrastinating. Once that's done than you are on the right path to success. As we keep moving the goal post through procrastination, that's how we keep shifting our opportunities in life.

How to Stop Procrastination
It's actually a very difficult task if you're already addicted to the spirit of procrastination, but there's still hope if you can be intentional about making a u-turn. The items below could help you they include:

  • write down achievable daily goals
  • outline areas that were not achieved in the previous day and include them in your new task for the day.
  • Segment your works into little chunks.
  • take every task serious
  • See everything that comes your way as an opportunity.

Time wasted can only retrieved through hardwork that supercedes the previous efforts.

It's well with you
