Although there are many things on my mind, but I have to share with you, the very thing that I want to do. These things are very important to me and worries me a lot. But as my new year reads, I want to be better this year and plans are implemented to achieve that.

I love farming for a long time now. I wanted to be established and own a farm. For practice, I have been doing that in one of the rooms in our house. I wants something big and ready to manage it very well. In that farm, I will diversified, crops and other animals to be reared, not only poultry. But there are challenges hindering me of such achievements.

Such a huge projects needs a huge capital to be facilitated. Remember that farming especially poultry is capital - intensive so it will be huge amount of money to be successful. To care for over 300 birds, their overhead cost and feeding is slated at two million naira. I don't have such amounts of money and still thinking of where to get it. Sourcing of finance in Nigeria is very hard and one of the main reasons why many dreams are killed in this part of the world.

Land tenure system practice in Nigeria is another challenge. It's very difficult to acquire such large expense of land for agricultural purposes when you are not governmental favorite. Lands are willed freely to their friends and family members even when they are aboard and not using them at the moment. Anyone with good intentions like me that can't purchase such large expenses will have a huge hurdle to overcome so as to be successful.

Such big project required a group of faithfuls. These faithfuls should be ready and sacrificing for the growth and stability of the project but hard to be employed. Although there are many people out of jobs and looking for meaningful tasks for their upkeep, juvenile delinquency which is popularized with "get rich quick" sentiments have affected the majority. They prefer to carry out money rituals involving killing and other fetish activities than working meaningfully.

Finally

Despite these challenges, I'm still positive about my dreams and will actually do it even if it will take me many years. There's a saying and school of thought which I belong now, "people follow a brave man". I will be brave and diligent so as to be successful than many people and partners will believe me to make it a success.
