The community's website/platform is held off-chain, and the community itself is established on Discord. Many of its community members are very active on Hive. The community, the platform and it's purpose is best explained by @dreemsteem herself in this excellent post which also explains a bit of the history behind Dreemport and how to register on the website (quick and easy process I promise!):
How do I use Dreemport? It's easy! :)
.
A true cross-platform, autonomous site that allows people to check out readers from other platforms Dreemsteem
@dreemport is about new connections, genuine engagement and steady support - BUT, we also love this aspect of our project: You have a measurable rating given to you, based on your audience support!
Why is that awesome?
• Because it allows you to have a very tangible way of recognizing if you're connecting with your audience.
• It allows you to see if you are improving or slipping.
• It challenges you to improve, and increase your score!

By registering on Dreemport, authors from multiple platforms are able to come together to have their posts viewed by a wider audience.
Once you have registered on Dreemport, before you can share one of your posts, you are asked to read and rank 5 randomly assigned posts. After you have done this, you are able to submit your own post for the day through the sharing of your post's URL link. Your post will then go through a screening process and be entered into the next day's cycle for curation and ranking by the public.
Because you share your URL link to your article and don't actually upload a copy of your article, when people log in to Dreemport and come across your post, they read your post where it is actually located, in your blog on your home platform. This means that they can curate it there and provide upvotes directly to your blog if they wish.
You will earn any tokens offered by your home platform and communities and you will earn layer 2 Dreem tokens in addition to these, just for using Dreemport.
If you follow @dreemport account on Hive, you will hear of the regular Dreemport Challenges run in partnership with communities across Hive, which aim to shine a light on both the Hive community being spotlighted and on Dreemport itself. They are always writing challenges and they always inject a lot of fun into the art of writing. They encourage people to explore a wide range of Hive communities and to discover new and interesting ways to express themselves.
The Dreemport Discord Server can be quiet at times because, as you can imagine, it is a community of writers... ahem...so often they are off writing...LOL ... probably just like you but people do come together frequently to hang out, engage in general chit chat and have fun.
The community also hosts the popular Pimp Your Post Thursday Radio Show run by @shadowspub
I've been part of the Dreemport family going on 6 months now and I haven't looked back. They are an amazing bunch of people over there. I'd say, take my word for it! But, why not instead go check them out for yourself!
This post is in response to @guiltyparties post:
