Hello everyone,

My favourite Nigerian meal is Eba. There are basically two types of Eba which is the Yoruba white Eba made from white garri and the Igbo garri made from yellow garri.

My favourite is the Yoruba white Eba which is what I will be talking about.

It's a very fast and easy food to make ,it doesn't require a lot of process to be readily available to eat and be fully prepared.

Materials needed to make Eba

1.White garri: This is a very important material needed to make Eba. It's made from cassava roots that have been crushed into a mash, fermented and sieved into small pieces.

2.A bowl:The size of the bowl is depending on the amount of people you will be preparing the Eba for.

This kind of bowl can just be used when preparing for just one or two persons.

3.Turning stick

4.Stainless kettle: This will be used for boiling water needed to prepare the Eba.

How to prepare Eba

Pour a certain amount of water in a stainless kettle.

Put the kettle on fire and allow it boil until it becomes steam this make take about 5mins.

While the water it's still on fire, pour a certain amount of garri into a bowl.

After that, pour the water from the stainless bottle into the bowl containing the garri.

Then stair gently with your turning stick until the garri gets soft and make sure they are no lumps in the garri.

Lastly, taste the garri in the bowl to be sure it's soft already.

After following all these simple steps then you food is ready.

Then you can now decide on what soup to eat it with maybe the red soup ,ogbono soup ,okra soup. It can be eaten alongside any soup.

You can also try to prepare this food at home as well.

Thanks for reading.
