Greetings...
We currently have a broken coffee grinder 😒

Yesterday I woke up and when I can't grind the coffee...oh, I didn't know what to do.

So it occurred to me to grind the grains in the blender...and...voala! We drink coffee. It turned out perfect 💯

Great idea for those who do not have grinder my dear friend. I believe it taste better too. Thanks for sharing your great idea.

Blender seems like a good backup plan. After all the cheaper blade grinders use a similar mechanism to crush/cut the beans. The burr grinders are superior, but blade ones surely do the job!

Thank you, @mdosev I'm going to need some opinions when I decide to buy my new grinder.

Where there's a will (for coffee) there's always a way! :D I'm sorry to hear your coffee grinder is broken, but hopefully you get it fixed or a new one soon. It's sure good you found an alternative in the meantime.

It was a real blow to realize my coffee grinder was no longer working...the blender is for a moment, while I gather the money to buy my grinder again...

Happy Saturday, girls from @cinnccf
Thank you.

This answer brings back memories, when the shortage here in Venezuela, I got coffee beans and we do not have mills, my husband's dad advised us to grind in a blender, it turned out great 🥰.

Yes. Well, there was a time when I didn't have a coffee grinder...I wasn't used to buying coffee beans yet. One day my brother brought me some and I thought of using the blender...it turned out well. So I remembered to solve it again...
Happy Saturday, @neilamarcano

That's great, it's the best solution for this issue, greetings

Yes I believe strong blender that blends dry things can ground coffee very well.

I also believe it is possible, I already tried it 😁

Dont abuse your blender too much, just in case... or maybe soon you will have to replace two devices instead of one. I wish you be getting a new shiny grinder very soon!

Yeah...I've already thought about it...I'll have to hurry up and buy a new grinder. It is true every appliance usage time.
Thanks for the warning, @qwerrie
Greetings.

Too bad your coffee grinder is broken 💔 Many people I know use their blenders to grind their coffee beans. I'm glad yours worked just fine 😌 And I hope you can get a new grinder soon.

Cafecito for you ❤️

Wow... It would be good to try this method no tWow... It would be good to try this method, he hadn't thought about it, in the absence of a coffee grinder. I've tried grinding corn kernels, but never coffee kernels...

Is cafecito a little coffee? May have just discovered my favorite word in Spanish. :)

Hehe, yes! Little coffee 😆 For us, a cafecito is usually black, then little black coffee. A "negrito" is another word you may use.

Nice word, cafecito! Spanish is the most nice and musical language, I guess there is no doubts in this in the whole world. 🥰

I think some people would agree that our language is indeed a little musical.

And I'm thrilled that you guys liked this word so much. Cafecito for you, too!

weeeeeee! 😘 🎈 🎈

I had that same question when I wrote about a very small coffee establishment called "mi cafesito" some time ago...in the end I settled on the translator's option "small café" I welcome your questions about Spanish, @honeydue ☺️

Frankly, I am not convinced thats a good solution. (Maybe using blender for hard beans instead of soft juicy vegetables will do the job, but will not be healthy for a long life of one's blender?.. I am full of doubts)

A friend of mine has an old Oster blender like mine (almost 25 years old); it's been doing the job for a decade, says she...

"Good for you!", as English say. 🙃

We could say that it was an improvised grinder, when our passion for coffee is great, we can do ingenious things. It was very informative to read your comment, next time I will use a blender.😋

I leave you a cup of coffee for this day.☕

Thank you, the blender has gotten me out of trouble several times. You can use it, but you have to go little by little so that the grains are well ground.
Greetings, happy weekend ☺️

Hot coffee so sweet, the aroma is always given, with whatever way to ground let our coffee be ready for consumption.

You will have to replace the grinder so as to ground your coffee for the family.

Certainly... I'll have to buy one.
