I am a regular buyer of Decathlon products, and they keep sending me updates on offers in whatsapp, and this Wednesday, they sent a special invite for this 60SALE that is started today and will be live till 20th. I had requirements to buy a Football shoes, as I still have that zeal to play it when opportunities available. It's not professional level, but kind of pleasure play at my native. So for that reason, I did not want to spend a lot this time and took the basic model. I also added few more items to my cart, but then none of these were part of these 60SALE. And then you know the present day kids - looking out for all sort of offers. The boy came to me saying, they have an offer to save 300 over a purchase of 3000/-, so he can add few items to use that offer. And here is the list of items that we bought finally.

The voucher codes are visible only on their app - not web. And they keep saying, its app only offer, for some reason, we erred to interpret that at SAVE300, and it was not applying that code. When we called their customer care, we were surprised to discover that it's AI powered. It tried to talk like a human, detecting our voice and interpreting it but when we asked for help with coupon and connect with an actual person, it said, it's beyond business hours, which is 7 pm. So luckily, we were able to figure out our mistake and applied the right code on the web, and it works, even though they say its mobile only offer.
And I must reveal another very interesting observation from this order. If you add a particular item to your Cart, then for some reason, it remains there for a long time, even though the item becomes out of stock. After we added my shoe in morning, it showed as out of stock, and we feared that the cart gets empty, if you don't check out in some time, may be few hours. However, it remained there till the evening. Interestingly, we logged into the app on mobile to avail the offer, and initially it showed an empty cart, but after I refreshed it on the web, it showed the same cart. So looks like it persists the cart to the same place from both the UI. We did not want to lose the deal, so no more holding, and it was done. If your order goes through, then its guaranteed to be delivered - they will arrange from some other stores.
And the product that was on a never before discount - Table Tennis Court Divider worth ₹4999 being sold at ₹299 - never seen such offer in my entire life earlier. The kids were using hard cartoon papers till now, because this is expensive, and for them it was a big joy to have this offer.
So have a look at the deals, if you have something to buy. Decathlon products are always good, so there is no doubt over the quality of the products.
