The government has paralyzed the system by giving free stuffs

In my native, we have got a Custard Apple tree just outside of our window, and we share part of it with squirrels, not happily but because they discover sooner than us and eat them before even they are ripen.

So this one was almost ready and I thought, next day I will get it, but see what happened next day.

Nothing left inside, kind of made my laugh at myself by thinking that how amazing this nature is, where these animals have better ability to sense before us. And they still left a lot for me, that's the beauty of them - they are not greedy, and consume only that much they need. It's not that we can't buy from market, but the taste and flavor of these are unmatched, and on top of that, they are pure organic. The one's that get you from market is sprayed with chemicals to ripen them.

The tree has been growing consistently helping the squirrels more😀, I wish it was a little closer to our house so that I could get them from the roof.

Every rainy season, the area outside gets filled with lot of other unnecessary plants, that needs to be cleaned up. Mom tried to get a daily wage labor , but unfortunately the government has paralyzed the system by giving free stuffs to them and as a result, its very difficult to get people for work even in rural areas. They use our (taxpayer) money to woo people in favor of votes, in the name of several schemes, but at the end, it does more harm than good. So finally I decided to take it myself and clean the area.

Took a good 3 hours to get this done, but I was happy to loose some fats in the process.

The view from the window is clean now, cattle roaming freely came in search of their food just after I finished. Time is coming when we have to do our own work, as man power is getting scared because of all these govt funded schemes. Unfortunately they are the biggest chunk of the vote bank and never realize that this is not their actual improvement. Everything is possible in this country in the name of democracy.

And I also started to prepare for the winter, more to come on that....

You are right, the government has crippled the people. I agree with you. That is why people are not willing to work hard. Here in Maharashtra also many parties distribute money and some things for their selfishness. And this is wrong. By the way, your Sitafal fruits are very good and completely natural. I like them very much.🙏

What a shame that the squirrels got ahead of you and took a large portion of the fruit that you had planned to take
I think it's bad that the government spoils people, giving away free things, reducing the workforce, given that when the country is not doing well and these benefits are taken away, people are not used to working

Since I was little I have often eaten this fruit and I really like it, but now it is extinct and in my hometown where I live there is no longer this fruit plant. this is very regrettable.

I also picked organic apples from my garden today and wrote a post. The first thing that distinguishes them from store-bought ones is their delicious aroma! Happy is the man who eats the fruits of his labor.

I was introduced to custard apple by one of my BnB guests, the fruit looked so ugly but it is absolutely the most delicious fruit I've ever tasted!
Governments worldwide are making the same mistake, just to earn votes, and not helping those people become self-sufficient at all! Awful!

Oh that's awesome. We also have that fruit in our backyard, and we call it Atis. We don't have a lot of squirrels in our area, so the ones we have to contend with are the birds. A lot of ours are still small so we're waiting for a while before we harvest. I usually wait until they look like they're bursting before I get them, since they're really sweet and has a lot of flesh by then. I do harvest them earlier once I see the birds start to eat them.

I like to eat this too when I was young but now, since we don't have a custard apple tree and have no time hunting on the neighborhood, until now, I haven't try any custard apple.😔

Free space, unadulterated food, and organic fruits are a rare combo in modern cities. In my city Nagpur, you can not find such free space, everything is nearly jammed. My granny's home has such a tree that bears fruit during winter, you can notice the difference in tastes. What is being sold is the market is hybrid and that too using preservatives to prolong their shelf life, so you can not get better taste.

Unfortunately, freebies have become the new tool of election campaigns and potency to win. Unfortunately, the most productive member of the society(the taxpayers) bear that cost.
