You can feel the difference in taste
While coming from the native this time, I brought two comb (hands) of curry bananas as the entire bunch was ready to be served and it was very well grown this time. Since that day, we are having plain banana fries at home at kid's demand - the very first day they ate this, they could feel the difference in taste - that's the reality of pesticide free vegetable. They usually don't like to eat the banana fries on a regular basis, but this is so tasty that, they want to eat it everyday, till its over. WE kept it outside, instead of a freezer and it remains fresh, not sure, because of being organic.
One and half month back, I had provided support to this tree about which I wrote in this post and now you can compare the growth, the tree definitely recognizes our help and gives back. I had to climb that wall to cut them and the above image is before cutting them.
And I cut down the two upper combs from the bunch, which was having more than two dozens of bananas. The next day Mom cut the plant, and kept a comb at home and distributed the remaining to others. She will also have the pleasure of utilizing the stem inside, the natural stomach cleanser. We use every part of the banana tree, the fruit, the leaves, the stem, and flowers. Have you ever tasted the flowers or stem curry ? They need some special processing and Mom knows best how to do that.
And then we have Papaya trees all over the backyard, Mom just throws the seeds and they grow on their own. Same goes with curry leaves plants - there are many of them. The smell of these fresh curry leaves are so different than the ones available in market.
And I prepared four containers for Mom to plant some saplings that I have put. Rain has not stopped, but its already due to put plants for Winter, so I got them ready so that Mom does not do it herself.
She is not a great photographer, but she managed to take few pictures and these two were the best. Now that, we have made up our mind on Dad's treatment plan, she is not stressed any longer. Hopefully we will have some flowery experiences in the coming winter.
And I did a DIY project to clean an area and got lot of pesticide free custard apples as well - more to come on that.
