It's been quite some time since I've shared on this space and I'm super excited to be with you today.
Being a Beauty Consultant and doing my business online, I shop for my products and those of my clients from my company's online store with just a swipe of my fingers.
So does this mean that shopping online has taken the seat over the physical one for me?
Let's talk more....
WHY I LIKE SHOPPING ONLINE
One of the several perks and innovations that the Internet brought is E-Commerce.
It bridged the gap and made it easier and more convenient for buyers and sellers to meet with or without an intermediary to do business. Companies and Brands have taken advantage of this to develop online stores and websites where people from any corner of the world can shop their products and even have it delivered to them at any location decided by the two parties.
The ease and time-saving factor that comes with shopping online is something else.
In addition, I don't have to walk or look through several physical stores to find the product that I am looking for to buy. I just go to the site or app where I can find these products or contact an agent for it and that's all — a major invention that wasn't available before the Internet came on board contrary to physical shopping that is much more stressful and time consuming.
But you may ask; “How about the What I Ordered vs What I Got?”🤔
Oh yes! It can be a real pain when you get the exact opposite of what you ordered online but this can be controlled depending on the kind of stuff you are buying online.
This is where I buy into physical shopping.
WHY I ALSO LIKE PHYSICAL SHOPPING
There is really nothing like seeing and feeling my products first hand before buying in case I might want to change my mind on anything. This also helps me to avoid scams and buying fake products because I am able to test them myself. This is applicable when I buy stuff like gadgets¬; a power bank for instance. I can know if it’s real or fake by taking a good look at it and testing it. Although many folks still get scammed into buying fake products even after proper CIA inspection. 😉
At least, no one will be able to run away with my money after paying for the products because I get them immediately after payment and should the products I buy develop a fault, based on the conditions of the purchase and kind of products like gadgets again, I can take them back to where I got them from and lay my complaints unlike online shopping that I may not be able to except by contacting the customer care of the company which may or may not respond to my complaints. Some companies or online vendors do not even provide customer care services.
I have no preference between buying physically and online because they both have their advantages and disadvantages. I just know what works for me.
To get the best of both worlds, you need to have a trusted brand, company or vendor from whom you purchase products from and can refer you to other trusted ones as well and don’t be scared of trying new things, the better things are yet to come. ☺☺
