Splinterlands is going strong. I remember writing my first post for the challenge a few years back and the wonder with which I got voted by the curators and the wonder is still there I assure you because it gives me a feeling that I am recognized by the team which is why I encourage all splinterlands players should attempt to write for the theme each week.
So, this week, it is the dragon. I so love the dragon quest and I looked forward to it even now. So, here goes.
What makes the dragon splinter special?
The dragon summoner can choose any element. It can be life, earth, water, fire, or death. That is one specialty.
The dragons breathe fire. With the release of the Chaos edition, we get to use more dragons which actually reminds me of Hogwarts.
The increased abilities which make Chaos very special are also helpful to the new player who can play competitively with the help of the starter cards but if he/she/bot must make any progress in the splinter lands, then it is wiser to level up the cards and experience the abilities and how to use it to progress towards becoming a champion.
The battle begins with the dragon breath
The lineup
I always choose the Djinn Chwala as the tank. Then comes the Chaos dragon with its super abilities. The goblin psychic was next with the scale doctor with the healing. The mycelic slipspawn and the Doctor bringing up the rear and you have a dangerous team.
Recently, I noticed many people using level one cards and leveled-up sneaks in the rear. Maybe, it is a new strategy but I don't see how it can help in the long run especially if the player wants to level up in the game.
You can click the game image and watch the game if you like.
The problem with fighting starter-level cards is that it does not give you the satisfaction that you won over a powerful opponent. I mean how wonderful it would be to beat Byza of all people but I know I could never do that. Winning is great but I wish the bots whom I meet the most at least used a good team.
Anyways, my quest was water and I went out of the way to select a dragon team for the post. I was not disappointed but wished I could boast of a fair win. No complaints.
Attention, players
Don't you wish that more real-time players joined splinterlands?
Here's what you can do about it.
Print out a splinterlands design with permission of course and maybe have it imprinted on a T-shirt perhaps, print flyers, and pin it on public noticeboards or local eats or wherever it is permitted to stick it. Distributing printed splinterlands stuff in malls is also a good idea. You could do it in groups.
Sticking splinterlands stickers on vehicles is also a cool idea to garner attention.
Has anyone tried these ideas, yet?
More players could mean lesser dec per game but then it would be good for progress, right?
