Hello to everyone here on this prestigious platform, I hope we're all doing well in our Various ways?. So, it's another week of penning down our thoughts which I must say has really improved my writing skills.
Holidays are around the corner and there has been a lot of plans mapped out already for my family and I to spend time together and also have some fun. It had become a norm in my family for us to all travel down home every year not minding our Various locations not distances as my dad had always wanted us to spend the time together at home, eating, playing, singing (cos we love music) and gisting about the memories of our childhood. It warms the heart of my parents seeing us all together especially when we are all adults and we've all began to go through life.
It all began to turn south when we lost our dad about six years ago, and I must say that ever since then, holidays hasn't been the same anymore. My mum finds it traumatic to continue in line with the family tradition cos it so much reminds her of my dad, her late husband, my Dad. we now barely see ourselves during the holiday which used to serve as an avenue to see ourselves and spend some time together.
This time around, we've decided to go back to doing our family tradition, but now, we've all decided to go spend our time having fun outdoors. We're all coming together in the house as we used to, then go have some fun at the beach, visit an amusement park, go for musical concerts and catch up on old times. All these activities will be carried out at daily intervals because the plan is to spread the fun out to take some days out of the holidays before we all go back to our normal busy life with busy schedules.
I'm really looking forward to this coming holiday because it's going to be loaded with a whole lot of fun. I really can't wait to spend time with my siblings again, tease them with their childhood secrets 😃, discuss with them like adults would ( they used to say I'm still a little girl because they still see me as their baby sister 🙄), lol, and also plan on how to grow on all sides in years to come.... I really do hope and pray things go as planned because I missed seeing my siblings all together at the same time......
