Hello friends. It's the week of hope. I think the theme Hopeful is just perfect for this period in time. It's a testy time that requires patience and forging ahead despite difficulties.
I discovered something while trying to make something of this theme. I came to the realization that the symbol of hope is the same as a heartbeat. As long as the heart is alive there is hope for better things to come. So as long as we are living, it's important to keep alive our hopes as well because that is living. In Passenger's words, they're like little lights shinning in our hearts.
The lyrics of this song passes the same message across. Even after our hearts have been broken we still have to pick ourselves up with the faith that better days will come around.
