My Best 3 from The Epic Musical Concept Album

in #hive-1938163 days ago

I know that for the last 2 Tuesdays I've been talking about the Epic Musical Sagas. Now there are loads of other songs on there that I haven't present but this would be my last post on the saga.

I'd hate for my #threetunestuesday posts to get too repetitive and drab or even boring. Plus there's something aesthetic on ending it with a 3 for 3 basis. So on that note, The Tuesday before the last, I introduced the first of the Nine Saga's which was The Troy Saga and last Tuesday I brought in some songs from The Cyclops Saga now, I'm going to round it off with my favorite 3 songs of all the nine Saga's.

My Best 3

Epic the musical is a project with 40 songs divided into two acts which are them divided into nine Saga's portraying different aspects of Odysseus journey back from Troy to Ithaca.
This songs helps portray the trials, emotions and incidents felt by Odysseus and they're something I truly enjoyed.

It's no understatement to say that picking just 3 songs out of 40 was hard but I've managed to do it plus a bonus.

- Underworld

After the Journey at Circe's Palace, Odysseus and his men travel to the underworld looking for a prophet that'll show them the way home avoiding Poseidon.
What I loved about this song was its semblance. The way we get to see how the underworld worked into Odysseus.
His thoughts weighing down on him, people he's lost and failed and how it's affecting him.
The voices, memories and tunes gives off the sorrowful vibe that you'll just have to listen and be sober.

- Scylla

I can say with all honesty. This song gave me goosebumps.
The full album is split into 2 parts, and the Thunder Saga was the first album of the Second saga. I kid you not when I say this.
Every song in this album was a banger!!!
From suffering, to different Beast down to thunder bringer.
Yet it's clear that Scylla was the turning point.
I loved the voices, the effects, everything shows and portrays audibly Odysseus and his crews scratch with the monster Scylla

- Love In Paradise

Many people love this song for Calypso's Voice, others love it for Odysseus breakdown in the ending, I love it for both of those things.
Yet I still love and understand the meaning behind this song.
After the events in the Thunder Saga, Odysseus washes up in Calypso's island and finds that his stuck there.
This is a man who's deeply in love with his wife and was trying to get home as fast as he could.
He'd spent 10 years at sea for a voyage that's meant to be a couple months at most.
He was distraught, depressed, tired and broken, not at all interested in Calypso's love in paradise.

These are my best three tunes from epic. Each song carrying as much story and passion as humanly possible.
Yet this one is one I was just in awe at. The voices made my bones ache and it was crazy.

Hold Them Down

This song came in the last saga, The Ithaca Saga. Penelope had just about given hope and decided to give the suitors one more final challenge to help her decide a new husband.
Yet the suitors led by Antinuos had grown tired and plotted to kill Telemechaus and take the throne of Ithaca for themselves.

So these are my tunes for @ablaze's #threetunestuesday...

Which do y'all like best?

It's awesome that you are showcasing a variety of interesting tunes in your TTT posts. And these are great! Currently listening to the first one and will be consuming all three, oops, four!
