Psycho Pass

If i were to say what urged me to start this show I'd say it's something more of a mental pull.
I'd just finished writing the post for Haikyuu the dumpster battle and while on YouTube looking for the trailer, I watched an edit which included the scene of Makishima and Kogane fight and that scene stuck with me from there.

After a while, actually jist four days later, I searched and found that the scene actually originated from Psycho Pass and the anime psycho pass was on my list of things to watch.
So here we are...

Psycho Pass

Plot

It's a dystopian version of of modern Japan. Humans have progressed technology to the point of perfection. The Sibyl system, an AI capable of measuring humans mental capacities and turning them into numbers. These numbers are called their psycho pass. The psycho pass is the range at which the AI uses to join a citizen's possibility of being a criminal.
Akane Tsunemori is a novice inspector assigned to the CID, the enforcers of the Sibyl 's will. Yet as she begins to grow more experienced, she's forced to realize that the perfect AI isn't as perfect as it's made to be.

When talking about psychological anime shows, there's no list that wouldn't include psychopass, I for one have come across the name numerous times in the CBR ranking blogs.

There are loads of reasons to love this show. If not for the plot then maybe for the animation style which is able to blend dark and mild creepy elements to futuristic tech elements.

If not that you could be interested in the character development that they managed to include in just twenty two episodes of the first season.

The backstory of all major characters or even the huge revelation drop about Sibyl that'll make you nod your head in content of how unspeakably bizarre and peak and unexpected it is.

Yes... Those are all major reasons to love and really appreciate this series.
Yet why I truly love this series is for none other than the major antagonist Makishima Shogou.

I've found myself being interested in insanely talented and smart evil geniuses and Makishima Shogou is a profile example.
Yet another reason is because I empathize and support his claim amd ideal of Sibyl making humans lose their humanity.

What even impressed me the most is his distinct display of his claims and how true it was in his war against Sibyl arc.

Just one man capable of so much damage is the ideal criminal mastermind.

His chemistry with the hunting dog Kogane was great too. Their battle of wits and skills were cooly coordinated and animated.
A true show of genuine human skills and it was a perfect break away for me from a fight of superhumans or insane powers.

Just a cop and a criminal going at it.

Despite Makishima, this show is a lovely one that'll make you really think about the potential future of AI and humans, it's also one that may pique your interest psychologically.
I give this show a 9/10 and I recommend it to all...

looks interesting, excellent recommendation!

Psycho passs. Bro, it's been a long time since I saw an anime. I think the last one I saw was Windbreaker and it was the beginning of November. That's a while. I've never really heard of psycho pass though, I'm probably just a chill guy that haven't heard it;)

Except you're a girl...

And?

Nothing...

That's it...

This anime was recommended to me recently, I think I watched only 5 episodes and stopped watching it because I gave priority to others but I should definitely pick it up again, thanks for your recommendation!💕
