Hello friends! I'd like to start off today blog by showing you some part of my day on how retail stores in Cambodia looks like along the street, and then I will add more details about Cambodian daily life, and traffic situations. So let's start it!
Snacks Shop 🍭🍪
It was about 2 pm before returning back home, I stopped here a bit because I feel like I haven't bought as anything from this shop for a long time. Well, let's me tell you, this is my childhood grocery shop. They do business as a family. When I was young, my friend and I come here often as we absolutely obsessed with the candy here and ice-cream. Every time I enter this tiny space, it reminded me all the good old days memories I have spent with my friends. So sad that they are now moved.
Basically, it's just common snacks import from neighbors country - especially Thailand. Not only does it has been on sale at this shop, but other places too. To be honest as I have try many different types of snacks, I confidently said some type of product is truly come from the same company as well as buying at the same price, but if you travel to another Province of Cambodia like Kampong Saom, you will see how the price significantly higher compare to small town.
If you walk through grocery store or local shop, you can find similar things, but the fact that it might be shock you is the price.

I am pretty sure after 5 pm, along the street from Sovannaphumi school to the new opening café will be more people and more activities of purchasing and trading products rather than now because, in Cambodia 5 pm is basically when all parents pick up their kids from school and workers tends to return home, also when the weather is fairly pleasant cold.
