To Lucan!!

in #travel2 months ago

Off to the Lucan Architectural we went, my wife and and I eager to explore the wonders that awaited us. The sun was shinning, it was super hot in our car, it was a bit of a drive, but what can you do?
We finally arrived there, this store is well known for its beautiful Amish Furniture, crafted with care and precision. The rich wood and designs spoke of a time long past, when craftsmanship was valued above all else. But of course the wife and I aren't going there for that, we are going to look at some of the most fascinating metal art objects and old vintage metal signs.
We wandered outside the store and saw this neat Volkswagen with a shark holding a surfboard, I think this Volkswagen has been here for a few years, if I recall over two years ago, there was a Homer Simpson metal object in the car, they made it look like he was driving the car.

They had all kinds of Minions all over the place, these small, yellow pill-shaped creatures are very neat

They had metal objects of Betty Boop and others

Simpsons and Popeye signs

Lots not forget about the Jetsons

John Deer Truck

A neat looking Alien

Saw this awesome Mario Plushy wearing a racoon outfit, but it was $225, ahhh

Lots of Mcdonalds Funkos and also plates

Simpsons Metal objects

M and Ms stuff

An old vintage Star Wars cardboard sign from 25 years ago

They had tons of Seinfeld stuff

A huge Harry Potter area

The wife and I decided to leave before we got too tempted to buy all kinds of stuff.
But as we made our way back home. I carried with me a piece of that magic, a reminder of the beauty and wonder that can be found in the most unexpected of places. And I knew that I would always treasure the memories of our visits to the Lucan Architectural, a place where art and history came together in perfect harmony.
