Introduction

Well it's been a while since I've written a social media challenge. They changed the timing for the countdown so I've had to get used to that. Anyways, the auction house started a few days ago with a new legendary promo where players can bid for the card. So for 100 days, people can bid for this card each day and every 20 days it will be a goldfoil. If I'm not mistaken, this means that there will be 95 regular foil and 5 gold foil as the supply and there will be no more. I feel the gold foil could be sought out for because of gold foil tournaments; this card would be super rare and it would give a unique advantage. I will cover my current thoughts on the auction as well as Heliose.

Thoughts On Auction

Honestly, at first when I first heard about the idea of the auction I was a bit skeptical. Now that I've seen it in action, I'm actually supporting it because it's getting a rid of a lot of DEC. Supporting it as I'm not against the idea of it anymore but personally I won't be participating as I don't have the wallet to fight these whales. I didn't expect people would bid over 1 million DEC for this card. I thought at most 500k but people are valuing this card around $800 bucks which is insane. I wonder if this will maintain throughout the 100 days because that will be a minimum 100million dec gone.

There are definitely people upset since it's a bit gatekept by money but we need money in the ecosystem. People need to spend money to keep the game going so let the people that have the money buy it you know. It's kind of like that crazy hall of legends faker thing they did for league of legends. I think they sort of got inspiration from that for the hall of legends but this one is more unique as it's bidding.

Heloise the Hollow

When defeated, 100% chance to counterattack.

As long as there is a non-Weary allied unit, self-resurrects with 100% armor and 50% of max health, rounded down. All magic debuffs are removed, and all magic buffs are reapplied. Inflicts Weary on the non-Weary allied unit with the highest health and reduces their health by 50%, rounded up.

This card is insane because of the new abilities. It can retaliate 100% chance when taken down with the Spite ability. It hits for 8 which is perfect if Arkemis the bear cuts it in half. Arkemis can't counter it since it would put it's attack to 4 and Arkemis attacks first because of the speed. It's set at 9 mana so it can't be one hit by giant killer. The monstrous part is that Heloise can revive by turning an allied unit weary and losing 50% of their health. Basically, this card could revive 5x and I'm not even sure how resurrect would work with that. Imagine if it was a born again ruleset. Would it give Heliose a potential to revive 11x in 1 battle?
