Diving Into The Trenches On Weekends

Around November, I got interested in meme coin trading after seeing those crazy profit flexing on X. Since then if there wasn't any family or friendly gathering, I would spend the weekend working on learning this. Yes, I consider this work because I came here to make money. At first, I was researching and trying to find a group to join to learn and trade with. I came across a group called Kanto Labs and subscribed to them for a month for about $100 USD. I was also able to join a free group called Niggas with Alpha. At first, I was mainly observing how others were trading and eventually I started myself.

Honestly, I got destroyed the first few weeks and it hurt losing money but I kind of expected it. It's PVP and I was a newbie against other newbies along with a lot of experienced veteran traders. It took time but I found out that the microcap trading was just way too crazy for me. It was so volatile and super hard to control my emotions seeing the red candles. I feel I kind of lacked the experience and discipline which is why I was in the red.

I remember this trade I took on Max. Max was an AI agent and the team backing this project was super solid. I had around an 11m entry and this shit went all the way down to 3m and I decided to cut my loss there as there were also some other people in the trading group that cut their loss as well. I learned a huge lesson though and that's to never fade a strong hard working dev team. The team kept on building and what do you know two weeks later it sends to 30m. I would've almost tripled my initial investment. Then one month later it peaked 200M. It was one of my biggest fumbles memecoin trading. I could've turned my 3.3 solana into over 50+ solana which is around $9500 usd but instead I sold at lost like $400 bucks.

Anyways I decided to change my strategy. I didn't want to play microcap coins anymore at the moment because I really wanted a higher win %. I realized instead of chasing the 5x, 10x, 100x that taking a 0.5x to 1x is good enough with size. I shifted my focus on mid-long term plays on ai projects that had good tech and team. Today, I was able to make a trade and I came out with 1.35 sol. I've been slowly earning back my losses and I will probably recover my losses soon enough with this change of strategy. I became less stress having to look at the chart all the time and I've been more happy trading. I genuinely believe during this bull run I may be able to make some life changing money with trading so I'm going to keep at it during the weekends!

I wanted to share the reality of meme coin trading though. It's not easy as it looks and there's just so many scams out there and insider stuff. It takes a lot of time to research and make good trades in meme coins. Not only that but a lot of emotional stability and discipline is needed. Not being too greedy and taking profit and knowing when to cut losses is all part of the game. I'm still slowly learning and getting better. I highly advise others to not try it because it is one crazy ride. It's a real grind if you're starting out.

Coincidentally, I also started to play pickleball in November. As someone that used to play tennis, I got the hang of the game easily. I really enjoy this sport and it's super fun to play. I'm also able to get exercise out of it. My mom gifted me a pickleball paddle when she visited during the holidays! I'm also lowkey considering starting a pickleball business but need to discuss with my cousins more and do more research if it's viable in Malaysia.

If I wasn't working on weekends getting good in the trenches, then I would rather be playing pickleball! I'm hoping to make it big this cycle so I can play pickleball and enjoy my weekends more instead of looking at charts and researching projects.

I'm seeing a lot playing Pickleball in malls in our country. I'm not sure it will dethrone Badminton though.
!BBH

I think it will haha and some places it already has. Like in Malaysia some places are changing badminton and futsal courts to pickleball courts. It's already dethroning tennis~. Have you played?

Not yet. Pickleball is played in airconditioned malls as opposed to Badminton which is played in warehouses converted to courts.

oh seems like pickleball there is still a bit premium lol. i reckon the air conditioned courts are probably double or triple price renting the court vs badminton then ;x

I believe everything happens for a reason. Every experience, be it good or bad, is important in the crypto trading journey. I am also learning myself, but after making all the silly mistakes in the last 2021 cycle, I feel more prepared and confident now. In a way, I was glad I made some of those mistakes back in 2021 when the stakes were smaller. Happy trading!

What are you trading?

Yes I learned a painful lesson lol. I joined crypto thru web3 gaming in the last cycle. I joined during the peak of the cycle and got so greedy thinking prices will go higher and ended up holding until so long gg

I usually buy and hodl. Don't really trade much haha.

o.o thats one of the best ways and less stress :D. no need see for few months and see u alr 2x lol

🙃

All the best in your trades!

haha you come trade too lets go?

Nowadays, I only trade in the internal market 😁

Back in 2021 I got very busy chasing profit in BSC. I don’t hold too long since rug pulls happen a lot there. When the token pump 20% I short it right away and never look back 😂.

Now I just want to have a chill ride this cycle. Personally, trading is not an easy game to play.

owh. so other than hive what are you holding? Like btc, xrp and eth?

Nohting wrong with a chill ride lol. If you're willing to do some research some tech ai projects are good too and can get a bigger return since lower marketcap
