I actually don't write songs but I kind of do want to write at least one song before I die as part of my bucket list. The title of this post is actually from the singer's Youtube and X bio summary so you can kind of figure out what type of songs he writes and sings. The artist I'm featuring today for Three Tune Tuesday is Keenan Te. I featured one of his songs last week "where you are" so if you liked that song, you should listen to the three songs I'm sharing today. Keenan is apparently from Australia and that's all I could find out about him online. I also want to wish an early Happy Halloween and Deepavali to all that celebrate these two occasions. Without further ado let's get to the music!
#1. Scars - Keenan Te
The first song I wanted to start with is Scars. This is not the most popular song on his Youtube but it has the most plays on his Spotify. For this song, I really like the lyrics and simple melody with a focus on the vocals to go with it. The song is about a relationship ending and apparently this isn't the first time for the guy. Despite the bad ending, the guy thinks the relationship was worth it. He tried his best and he has no regrets even though he's left with scars. The scars I assume is all the memories he had with the girl he loved.
#2. Never Let You Go - Keenan Te
This is another song with a similar style to the first. Great lyrics with a simple melody and focus on the vocals but the pitch in this song is a bit higher. The song is about looking back at a past relationship. The guy has grown and matured and now when he looks back he wished he acted differently with the new knowledge and experience he has now. He would've tried to keep the relationship going but it's already too late now. I believe the guy is feeling a bit of regret that he let the girl go hence a lot of focus in the chorus "I would never let you go".
#3. Forgot About Us - Keenan Te
Personally, this is my favorite song. I like the beat of the song and the lyrics and tone of the vocals make this song very emotional. I also feel it's relatable for real life relationships. The song is about a guy that found out a girl cheated on him perhaps she was two timing on him. The guy describes the feeling of that situation and I feel it's realistic. I've never been in that situation before though so I wouldn't know. Maybe if you know, you can comment below .
Thank You
If you made it to the end, thank you so much for reading and listening. What do you think of Keenan?
Please don't be afraid to share your three songs every Tuesday! Share the music share the love.
Credits
I do not own any of these songs and these are not my YouTube channels; it's just for fair use and sharing new music to everybody. All credit for these songs go to their singer🙏.
