A terrible drawing of me at work. Imagine being able to see through the glass because that was what it was like for a few weeks before my boss paid for privacy film to be installed.
Most of my work is done online so you can see here that I'm sitting in the office with my laptop. One of my main jobs now is working at a start-up IT software solution company. I'm not really an IT person nor is my boss. My boss is more focused on sales and I'm more towards the administration work and bookkeeping. As for the IT support etc, that stuff is handled by a supplier so technically this company is kind of like a middle man. My boss does plan to eventually have his own IT team and build software but that needs money so being a middle man for now is the only option.
Aside from this start-up, I also help out my dad with his e-book business. I just do the stuff that needs the computer like generating marketing images or birthdays and uploading e-books to the central admin store etc. I also do some R&D for him as well and through that I did learn a lot of different things and skills. For example, I did kind of learn how to use WordPress. I'm not a good designer but I'm able to work my way around it.
Hey Shawn what about Hive. For me, I don't consider writing here on Hive a job. I feel it's nice to write and let out some creativity or feeling about life or thoughts on certain topics. It's fun and relaxing and at the same time there's no pressure since I can write what I want and when I want.
As for my future work, I've been thinking about being a content creator for crypto/gaming which includes streaming of course. This is something that I want to get into because I am passionate about gaming and crypto so I feel this might be suitable for me despite being an introvert. I tend to be more extroverted online if that even makes sense.
That's all for me this weekend. Today is actually Merdeka day in Malaysia so if you're from Malaysia Happy Merdeka (AKA Malaysia Independence Day). Have a great weekend guys!
