Happy Tuesday! Sadly, I was busy and missed last week's three tune Tuesday post. Anyways, I'm back for this week and hopefully I don't miss any for the rest of the year. I hope you all started out the year strong. I have a great feeling about this year. It's going to be amazing.
Today, I will be covering songs from Nana Ouyang. Nana Ouyang is from Taiwan; she's a singer, musician and actress. I think I shared one of her songs before way back last year or two years ago but I don't remember. I will be sharing three songs from her today.
#1. To Be Happy - Nana Ouyang
I'm starting out with To Be Happy. It's a song I found recently from her Spotify. The song has a sweet melody yet the lyrics give off a bit of melancholy. The song is about a girl that broke up with their boyfriend. She doesn't think she can bare seeing him with someone new. She will just close her eyes if she ever sees him outside. I guess it could also be figurative for not paying attention to his life. All in all, she genuinely wishes him to be happy even though she hasn't seem to have gotten over him yet despite accepting that they weren't meant for each other.
#2. Tell Me You Do Too - Nana Ouyang
This is another song I found from the Spotify. I like how their was a music video for this song. The song gives that kind of R&B feeling with a gentle, sweet voice. The song is about love. It's about that feeling when you're with someone you love. The person loves the time they are spending with the other person and wonders if they feel that same way. There's a part at the end of the video that says love makes people fools and that the air tastes sweet when they are with the person they love. I believe this part kind of supports my short explanation on the meaning of the song.
#3. The Best For You - Nana Ouyang
I saved her most popular song last. This is the song I've known for few years now. It's also another emo song by her. I'm guessing she really loves singing songs about breaking up and heart break. This song is about two people fighting and breaking up. The person in this song still loves the other and would be willing to continue the relationship but that's not what the other person wants. Since she can't do anything about his decision, she just wishes the best for him. He probably told her that they could still be friends but she knows that's a lie which I think is relatable. If I'm not wrong, most people won't usually still be friends with their ex.
Thank You
If you made it to the end, thank you so much for reading and listening. What do you think of Nana's songs? Do you like these types of happy/emo love songs?
Please don't be afraid to share your three songs every Tuesday! Share the music share the love.
Credits
I do not own any of these songs and these are not my YouTube channels; it's just for fair use and sharing new music to everybody. All credit for these songs go to their singer🙏.
