Wasn't sure what photo to use. Picture of some Malaysian flag stuff probably selling for Hari Merdeka (Independence day)
Throughout life, everyone receives advice. Sometimes they are good and sometimes they are bad to the point where you are just speechless. Today, I want to share one of the best advice I received in my life and one of the worst.
It's a great to win but sometimes winning isn't everything. One of the best advice I ever learned in life was to let others win the argument. For example, I am arguing with someone and I know I'm right but most of the time it's not worth to argue and try to "win" the argument. Sometimes people are just set in on their own thinking that it's not worth potentially ruining the mood or friendship etc. Of course, this can't be applied to every situation. I'm talking more about the small things but if it's deep like someone's accusing you of stealing, then yes please argue and defend yourself.
On the other hand, the worst advice I ever got was related to getting a girlfriend. This was advice from my grandpa. I remember a few years back my grandpa was asking me where was my girlfriend. I told him I didn't have one and he was like it's so easy to get one. You just have to go see one that you like and just keep disturbing them. Then he went on about marriage and to come to him for any advice even for sex. Honestly, he has tried to pass his wisdom down to me and my cousins. Some of the advice he gave us are questionable but we all know in the end he has good intentions. He just wants the best for us.
That's all from me today. For those that gave me good advice in life, thank you so much and I appreciate it a lot because I wouldn't be where I am today without some of that wisdom. If you're reading this mom, Happy Birthday. I hope you all have a great weekend!
