In the upper chamber of my room
I sat, all alone, burden by a load of worries
I was loosing my sanity and nothing make sense
My heart was heavy not knowing where to start
But I knew I needed to speak to someone if I wanted to feel alright.
Dear Lord, I muttered, are you there? I asked
I have been told he listens but I needed an assurance
Not knowing where to start my tears spoke first
When my eyes were drained and my body weary, an Amen I said
I might not have said anything, but my tears had all the stories
