I wanted to find something different today, and did.

As I said before I am easily bored, and sitting drinking all day is not my thing, it was 20 years ago, but not now.
So I set off towards a place called Amed (backpacker heaven) and found it via a few stops due to torrential rain and a few soaking me sessions on my moped.

Before getting a soaking I came across this place and the owner is the lady above, within minutes of meeting her I was invited to her wedding, this place is so friendly it is adorable.

Her wedding is November the 3rd, I have also been invited to stay with them on the 2nd for a party, these are there pre marry photos in advance as it is the rainy season, so they have made sure they have photos in advance.

The entire place was beautiful and so was the food, so I left them a 5 star review on google maps.
I was starving by the time I got there so ordered fresh fried banana and ice cream as I knew I could eat that fast.
There was a British national there who does the scuba diving courses, he has just come from Thailand and is from Cleethorpes in the UK, we had a good 1 hour chat but then I wanted to go so I could find Amed beach, we exchanged numbers as he is a super cool dude.

That cost me 25000rp so £1.70 ish, I had 1 beer but no more, as I had a long way to ride from Tiyanyar to Amed on the beach winding road.
I love riding so the road for me is not a challenge, more fun.

The picture above is from Amed, it did take a lot longer to get there than it should due to rain, although when I stopped I was offered a roof under a families porch to shelter, her children kept watching me like I was a TV set, amusing and charming all in one, I left them some snacks to say thank you.

I found a superb restaurant by chance, I pulled over to put on a raincoat and noticed a board with a photo of a breakfast on it, and saw a beautiful woman inside, so parked and ordered a full English breakfast minus tomatoes and mushrooms but with extra bacon, and it is the best food I have had in days and only cost £4 or $5.

The girl it turns out was Russian, she was indeed stunning and could break many a heart, just not mine.
She was pleasant to talk to and says she has resigned from work and is now on a spiritual awakening, I wished her luck with that and departed.

After having so many days not being able to eat properly, it was nice to have a day of food, as my shorts were getting loose and belt too.

The last 3 photos are the view on the way out of Amed.

I am going to book a 3 day stay there for this weekend for sure, then come back to my villa, after I need to extend my visa for a month, then book a flight to Thailand and hit Bangkok for a week then Jomtien (Pattaya) then up to the islands and 6 weeks there will do for me, xmas and all.

The ocean villa dive resort was stunning, so will leave you with a few more photos of it.
I look forward to finding somewhere new again tomorrow, stay lucky people, wish you were here, have a superb day.

Peace and out........
