On January 28th of this year I made a post saying that I would start promoting Hive again in the Meta Threads, the one where you can log in via Instagram.

And the experience has been really cool, although no prospecting has been fully realized, that is, someone has actually created an account, introduced themselves or made a post, but I have had three contacts from people who were superficially interested in understanding what Hive was.
and how the conversations with these people went!
Person A
For obvious and logical reasons, I'm going to hide the usernames of the people I talked to at first. So let's start with the best prospecting I've had at the moment, which I'll affectionately call "Person A". The contact was made as follows:
Our dear person A started with a post indicating that everything she posts on X she would post on Threads as well and also commenting that she would show people web3. This indicates that she already has some knowledge about web2, web3 and crypto, since later I saw that she posted some things related to airdrops, an airdrop hunter just like I am at the moment.
Person A says:

So I started talking to her, I gave her a summary of what Blockchain Hive was and she asked if it was a free community, after that I explained again that Hive was decentralized and that it offers a space for users to create, share and monetize their content. After that, she answered me again as shown below.
Person A says:

With that, we arrive at the critical part of every approach I take, explaining the first steps. Whether I was wrong or not, I passed on my Peakd affiliation link, which for me is currently the best front-end we have to present to newbies, due to its stability, ease of use and mainly due to its response time and navigation speed.
I know that InLeo has other account creation options that are easier, such as logging in through X if I'm not mistaken, but I honestly find their front-end a little more complex and slower than Peakd to present to a new user. It's a matter of taste and any and all help, tips or information that can make this part easier, I sincerely appreciate you giving me to improve this crucial moment of creating a new account.
Along with this, I left the link to the HiveBR (Hive Brazil) Discord to show Person A that it was not a scam and that yes, we exist, we are a community and Hive is as real as any other blockchain or ecosystem.
And yes, she joined Discord!
After the warm welcome from the community, she also made a point of joining our Whatsapp group. I didn't share the link, as I've seen that many people in the crypto world don't like using Whatsapp or sharing their number, but she went ahead and joined our group.
At that moment I was already emotional, I can say that my eyes were already filling with tears, because I really believed that it would work out, that I had managed to make everything work out with willpower and communication, but... well, it stopped there. 😔
Despite saying good afternoon on Discord and joining the WhatsApp group, my prospecting for Person A stopped there. I still had to overcome my fears to approach her in private on WhatsApp, which may seem silly, but I have to think about a few things before talking to someone I just met on the internet:
I'm a married man, with a wife and children, and with that, it's not that easy to talk to a woman I just met on the internet. Yes, the thoughts around me are always the worst, like, a married man couldn't do that or the fact that they always think I have ulterior motives or sexual objectives behind every contact.
The issue of an unknown man talking in private with an unknown woman, because of the many stories we see out there, about this type of contact, pornography, insults, child grooming and everything else. I find it super strange when someone I don't know simply finds my number and comes to talk to me.
Finally, the crypto world is marked by scams, misinterpretations, fake profiles, malicious links and everything else, so talking to someone directly like that is super suspicious and can cause discomfort for both parties involved.
Let's get to know Hive?" No, it's not like that, at least in my opinion!
Even so, I sent the straight talk to my Person A, after I saw that she only joined the Whatsapp and Discord groups, but didn't ask anything or interact anymore.
I introduced myself with my real name and nickname (shiftrox) and she said she followed me on X and apologized for the delay. Right after that I sent her 2 audio messages (big ones, yes, I talk a lot via audio) summarizing and explaining some things about Hive.
I have sent you my reference link again, as well as the link to the guide that was created and pinned to our HiveBR community here at Hive. This guide was actually one of the best things we thought of doing, because it makes it much easier for newbies, especially those who speak Portuguese, but thinking as a community, we also made it available in English.

I still managed to exchange a few more messages, but nothing very promising. I commented on the communities, a little about the posts, the payments divided between HBD and HP and the last contact was on Thursday, January 30th.
She mentioned that Hive looks like Warpcast, which I've never heard of, and I ended up asking if it was possible to get paid for posting, if payments would be made in crypto or something like that, but, as we can see in the image, the checks didn't turn blue, so she didn't see that message.
That was the last contact I had with Person A, unfortunately after Thursday I saw her posting on Meta Threads again and apparently, she stopped there.
Person B
Person B was also a contact I had on Thursday, this is a man, he even had a personal photo and now I saw that he changed the photo, I almost couldn't find it to show you.
It all started with a post I made, showing about Snaps, another powerful tool we have to engage and interact. When talking about Hive to outsiders, I always present the possibility of long posts (blog) and micro blogs, especially always highlighting Snaps, always presenting how "they are the X and Threads of Hive" and yes, you can monetize it.

Thanks to @acidyo who made a small vote on this Snap, I thought it would be a good opportunity to show that with quick content (an image and a bit of text) it was possible to monetize and earn a bit of resources and this caught the attention of the Person B.

Finally, after this request for guidance and links to help him, I replied that we have a lot of content and that I was one of the founders of HiveBR, which is the strongest community focused on Brazilians at the moment. I mentioned that we have Whatsapp and Discord groups and also said that if he wanted to talk to me through some channel, it would be easier.
In this case, by channel I meant some messenger, so I could write and chat more calmly, share links, texts, audios, whatever was necessary to support him.

Person B even liked my last interaction and here I was wondering if my approach was wrong or too superficial. I was afraid to send the links like I did to Person A, especially because Person B actually came before Person A.
For this reason, unlike this approach, I already sent the links to Person A because I hadn't sent them to Person B. I always get the impression that I'm moving too fast if I already chat and send the links to WhatsApp, Discord or Hive groups, so it's something I need to improve and study to create a good approach strategy.
Finally, the detail is that Person B is also involved with cryptocurrencies, playing the game Epic Ballad that I started recently, mentioning the use of the Bybit card and apparently having good knowledge of the market as a whole.
Person C
Finally, the last person I had contact with about Hive, but I ended up not paying attention to her, I was busy the day she contacted me through Threads and I couldn't give her support.
The post in question that caught my attention was one related to a great payment I received from @commentrewarder, for engagement and interaction:

This post is 4 days old today, but 1 day ago Person C commented that she wanted the link to this app and wrote in a way that I understood that she was asking if it really pays.
Even though I was really busy yesterday, I also didn't have much energy to try to interact, because here I realized (of course I could be 200% wrong) that the person has no knowledge whatsoever about cryptocurrency, especially since her profile doesn't have anything about it either.
And since she called it an "app", she must be thinking it's something more simplistic, like the various apps out there that promise incredible payments and everything else. Again, just a preliminary assessment that could be totally wrong.
Person C says:

From her profile on Threads and Instagram, I can tell that she is a regular person, apparently with no knowledge about cryptocurrencies, so this means that everything I teach may be twice as complicated as for someone who is already part of the crypto world.
The detail that draws attention is the fact that she lives in Goiânia, the same city where @coyotelation and I live. Could you try to explain Hive to her? Schedule a meeting in a public place? Try to approach her via Whatsapp? Well... tough questions.
As I said, the fact that she is a woman and I am a man makes things a little more complicated. I think so, because explaining the Hive just by showing things is complicated, so playing the role of a live teacher, it certainly makes it easier to explain what the Hive is and how it works.
Conclusion
The conclusion is very obvious: it is super mega difficult to bring someone from the matrix to the Hive. We all agree on this, it's not easy and it may never be, but, as I said in my first post about Meta Threads, that was exactly the idea, to try my luck there and with the algorithm connecting me with people from Goiânia, to really play the role of a teacher and, if possible, even schedule public meetings to explain Hive.
Of course, talking is easy and doing is difficult. When the time comes, I get really shy, I'm afraid of saying something stupid or showing something that's too illusory because we know that Hive has its difficulties, whether it's understanding how it works or the difficulty for people to understand that they're not going to come here and make a lot of money.
The approach with people of the opposite sex, which I think is really more complex, could perhaps be made easier, for example, by wearing Hive uniforms. One thing I once talked to @coyotelation about was that we should try to make some T-shirts with the Hive symbol printed on them and also try to go to those stores that make promotional items to create keychains, stickers, pencils, pens, souvenirs and anything else that might be related to the Hive.
Anyway, everything is a challenge but I'm also having fun with this process of trying to meet new people and interact with them. Keep in mind that it's all very amateur, I'm a programmer and not a public relations professional and that it's all "volunteer work", but even so, I'm excited to try and free new people from the matrix and get to know the Hive and the fantastic crypto universe that we have at our fingertips.

Pessoa A
Por questões logicas e obvias irei esconder a principio o nome de usuário das pessoas que conversei. Então vamos começar pela melhor prospecção que tive no momento, que irei chamar carinhosamente de "Pessoa A". O contato ocorreu da seguinte forma:
Nossa querida pessoa A começou com uma postagem indicando que tudo o que ela posta no X ela iria postar nas Threads também e comentando também que mostraria a web3 para as pessoas. Isso indica que ela já possui um certo conhecimento sobre web2, web3 e cripto, já que depois vi que ela postou algumas coisas referente a airdrops, uma caçadora de airdrops assim como eu estou sendo no momento.
Pessoa A diz:

Então eu comecei a falar com ela, fiz um resumo sobre o que seria a Blockchain Hive e ela perguntou se era uma comunidade gratuita, depois disso eu expliquei novamente que a Hive era descentralizada e que oferece um espaço para os usuários criarem, compartilharem e monetizar o seu conteúdo. Após isso, ela me respondeu novamente como mostro abaixo.
Pessoa A diz:

Com isso, chegamos na parte critica de toda abordagem que faço, explicar os primeiros passos. Errado ou não eu passei o meu link de afiliação do Peakd, que para mim no momento é o melhor front-end que temos para apresentar para os novatos, por conta de sua estabilidade, facilidade e principalmente pelo tempo de resposta e velocidade de navegação.
Sei que a InLeo tem outras opções de criação de conta que são facilitadas, como entrar pelo X se não me engano, mas sinceramente acho a front-end deles um pouco mais complexa e lenta em relação ao Peakd para apresentar para um usuário novato. É questão de gosto e toda e qualquer ajuda, dica ou informação que possa facilitar essa parte, agradeço de coração vocês me passarem para melhorar esse momento crucial de criação de uma conta nova.

Após a recepção calorosa da comunidade, ela também fez questão de entrar no nosso grupo de Whatsapp, esse eu não passei o link, pois já vi que muitas pessoas do mundo cripto não gostam muito de utilizar o Whatsapp ou compartilhar o seu número, mas ela foi atrás e entrou em nosso grupo.
Nesse momento eu já estava emocionado, posso dizer que meus olhos já começaram a encher de água, porque eu realmente acreditei que iria dar certo, que eu tinha conseguido com a força de vontade e comunicação dar tudo certo, mas.... bem, parou por aqui. 😔
Apesar de dizer um boa tarde no Discord e entrar no grupo do Whats, minha prospecção Pessoa A, parou por aí. Ainda Tive que vencer meus medos para abordar ela no privado do Whatsapp, que pode parecer besteira, mas tenho que pensar em algumas coisas antes de conversar com alguém que acabei de conhecer na internet:
- Sou um homem casado, com esposa e filhos, e com isso, não é tão simples ir falando com uma mulher que acabei de conhecer na internet. Sim, os pensamentos ao meu redor são sempre os piores, do tipo, um homem casado não poderia fazer isso ou o fato de que sempre pensam que estou com segundas intenções ou com objetivos sexuais por trás de todo contato.
- A questão de um homem desconhecido conversar no privado com uma mulher desconhecida, por conta das muitas histórias que vemos por ai, sobre esse tipo de contato, pornografia, insultos, aliciação de menores e tudo mais. Eu acho super estranho quando alguém que não conheço simplesmente encontra meu número e vem conversar comigo.
- Por fim, o mundo cripto é marcado por golpes, interpretações erradas, perfis falsos, links maliciosos e tudo mais, então ir conversar com alguém diretamente assim é mega suspeito e pode causar desconfortos para ambos os envolvidos.
Vamos conhecer a Hive?" Não, não é assim, pelo menos na minha visão!
Mesmo assim, Mandei o papo reto para minha Pessoa A, depois que vi que ela apenas entrou no grupo de Whatsapp e Discord, mas não perguntou nada e nem interagiu mais.
Me apresentei com o meu nome verdadeiro e o meu nickname (shiftrox) e ela falou que me seguiu no X e pediu desculpa pela demora, logo em seguida já enviei 2 áudios (Grandinhos sim, eu converso muito por áudio) fazendo um resumo e explicando algumas coisas da Hive.
Enviei novamente o meu link de referência e o link para o guia que foi criado e fixado na nossa comunidade HiveBR aqui na Hive. Esse guia inclusive foi uma das melhores coisas que pensamos em fazer, porque facilita bastante para os novatos, principalmente para os da língua portuguesa, mas pensando como comunidade, também disponibilizamos em inglês.

Ainda consegui trocar mais algumas mensagens, mas nada muito promissor. Comentei sobre as comunidades, um pouco sobre os posts, os pagamentos divididos entre HBD e HP e o ultimo contato foi na quinta feira, dia 30/01.
Ela mencionou que a Hive se parece com o Warpcast, no qual eu nunca ouvi falar e terminei perguntando se neste lugar, era possível receber por postar, se seria realizado pagamentos em cripto ou algo do tipo, mas, como podemos ver na imagem, os checks não ficaram azul, então ela não chegou a ver essa mensagem.
Esse foi o ultimo contato que tive com a Pessoa A, infelizmente depois de quinta-feira já vi ela postar nas Threads da Meta novamente e ao que parece, parou por aqui mesmo.
Pessoa B
A Pessoa B também foi um contato que tive na quinta feira, este é um homem, inclusive ele tinha uma foto pessoal e agora vi que ele mudou a foto, quase que não encontro para mostrar para vocês.
Tudo começou com uma postagem que fiz, mostrando sobre o Snaps, outra ferramenta poderosa que temos para engajar e interagir. Ao falar da Hive para as pessoas de fora, sempre apresento a possibilidade dos posts longos (blog) e dos micro blogs, em especial destacando sempre o Snaps, apresentando sempre como "eles são o X e a Threads da hive" e sim, você pode monetizar isso.

Por fim, após esse pedido de orientação e link para ajudá-lo, eu respondi que temos muito conteúdo e que eu era um dos fundadores da HiveBR, que é a comunidade mais forte no momento focada em brasileiros. Mencionei que temos grupos de Whatsapp e Discord e também comentei que se ele quisesse falar comigo por algum canal, ficaria mais fácil.
Neste caso, canal eu quis dizer algum mensageiro, para poder escrever e conversar com mais calma, compartilhar links, textos, áudios, o que fosse preciso para dar o apoio a ele.

A pessoa B ainda deu uma curtida nessa minha ultima interação e aqui fiquei na dúvida se minha abordagem foi errada ou muito superficial. Fiquei com receio de já jogar os links igual eu fiz com a Pessoa A, até porque na verdade a Pessoa B veio primeiro que a Pessoa A.
Por este motivo, diferente desta abordagem, para a Pessoa A já joguei os links porque para a B não tinha colocado lá. Eu fico sempre com a impressão de estar indo rápido demais se já conversar e jogar os links de grupo de Whatsapp, Discord ou da própria Hive, então é algo que preciso melhorar e estudar para criar uma boa estratégia de abordagem.
Por fim, o detalhe é que a Pessoa B também é envolvida com criptomoedas, jogando o jogo Epic Ballad que comecei a pouco tempo, mencionando o uso do cartão Bybit e ao que parece tem um bom conhecimento do mercado como um todo.
Pessoa C
Por fim, a ultima pessoa que tive um contato sobre a Hive, mas acabou que não dei atenção para ela, estava corrido no dia que ela entrou em contato pelas Threads e não consegui dar o apoio para ela.
A postagem em questão que chamou atenção foi uma relacionada a um pagamento ótimo que recebi pelo @commentrewarder, por engajamento e interação:

Essa postagem têm hoje 4 dias, mas há 1 dia a Pessoa C comentou que queria o link deste aplicativo e escreveu de uma forma que entendi que ela perguntava se ele paga mesmo.
Aqui apesar de realmente estar ocupado ontem, também não tive muitas energias para tentar interagir, pois aqui percebi (claro que posso estar 200% errado), que a pessoa não tem conhecimento nenhum de criptomoeda, até porque o perfil dela não tem nada sobre isso também.
E como ela chamou de "app", deve estar pensando que é algo mais simplista, como os vários aplicativos que existem por aí, que prometem pagamentos incríveis e tudo mais. Repetindo, apenas uma pré avaliação que pode estar totalmente errada.

Pelo seu perfil na Threads e Instagram, posso dizer que ela é uma pessoa comum, ao que parece nenhum conhecimento sobre criptomoedas então, isso quer dizer que tudo o que eu for ensinar pode ser que seja 2 vezes mais complicado do que para quem já faz parte do mundo cripto.
O detalhe que chama a atenção é o fato dela morar em Goiânia, a mesma cidade que eu e o @coyotelation moramos. Poderia tentar explicar a Hive para ela? Marcar uma reunião em local público? Tentar abordar pelo Whatsapp? Bem... perguntas difíceis.
Como dito, o fato dela ser uma mulher e eu homem já complica mais um pouco as coisas. Eu penso assim, porque explicar a Hive apenas mostrando as coisas é complicado, então fazendo esse papel de professor ao vivo, com certeza fica mais fácil explicar o que é e como funciona a Hive.
Conclusão
A conclusão é muito obvia: é super mega difícil trazer alguém da matrix para a Hive. Todos nós concordamos com isso, não é fácil e talvez nunca seja, mas, como disse na minha primeira postagem sobre a Threads da meta, a ideia era justamente essa, tentar a sorte mesmo lá e com o algoritmo me conectando com as pessoas de Goiânia, realmente fazer o papel de professor e se possível até marcar encontros públicos para explicar a Hive.
Claro que falar é fácil e fazer é difícil, na hora H fico super retraído, fico com medo de falar besteira ou de mostrar algo que seja ilusório demais porque sabemos que a Hive tem a sua dificuldade, seja de entender como ela funciona, assim como a dificuldade da pessoa compreender que ela não vai entrar aqui ganhando rios de dinheiro.
A abordagem com as pessoas do sexo oposto, o que acho que realmente fica mais complexo, poderia talvez ser facilitada por exemplo com o uso de uniformes da Hive. Uma coisa que até falei com o @coyotelation uma vez, era da gente tentar fazer umas camisetas com o símbolo da Hive em estamparias e também tentar ir naquelas lojas que fazem coisas de brinde, para criar chaveiros, adesivos, lápis, canetas, lembrancinhas e o que for possível que remetam a Hive.
Enfim, tudo é um desafio mas também estou me divertindo com este processo de tentar conhecer pessoas novas e interagir com elas. Lembrando que é tudo bem amador mesmo, sou programador e não um relações públicas e que é tudo bem "trabalho voluntário" mesmo, mas que mesmo assim, me animo de tentar e libertar novas pessoas da matrix e conhecerem a Hive e o fantástico universo cripto que temos ao nosso alcance.
