DHAMPIR STALKER
Edition: CHAOS LEGION š
Rarity: RARE š·
Element: DEATH ā ļø
ATTACK: RANGE š¹
Abilities: TRUE STRIKE āļø
Hi everyone! Today I will use Dhampir Stalker on a ranked match to see how will this card fair in bronze metagame. First off, let us analyze the card. The first thing that you will see in this card is its awsome design. I really love the pose, the colors and how the artist used the color blue as the shadow of the character. You can clearly see that this card has some artistic value! Next, you'll see that it has a massive Range damage and a good HP. You could clearly see the potential in this card. It also have the ability True Strike so we are sure that the attacks of this card will not miss and at level 5, this monster will now received the ability Death Blow that can quickly finish off the opponent's last monster on the field. Now, let see on how can I work this card on to my team. You can check out my game replay here ā”ļø Click Here
And without further ado, Here is the Battle! š„š„š„
Ruleset āļø
Holy Protection
All Monsters have the Divine Shield ability.
Monsters that normally have this ability do not get it twice. The trick to win in this ruleset is to fill all 6 slots of your line up and use monsters with Blast and Double Strike. Use a monster or summoner that has Resurrect to use this ruleset at its maximum potential.
Mana Cap

ā¶ļø Initial Game plan: āļø
My game plan here is to use Dhampir Stalker on a high mana cap game since this monster requires 7 to be played. I know that there are better cards to use in this format but I would like to try this card on my standard Death team and see how will it fare. This team is composed with a lot of sneak and snipe attacker so I could clean the enemy backlines with ease while having a really strong and bulky frontline.

Magic Reduction

ā¶ļø Purpose āļø
A really strong summoner for softening the blow of my opponent while also weakening their health. This will help me greatly as this summoner will most certainly put my opponent's monster in to KO range.

ā¶ļø Purpose āļø
A very strong frontline that really compliments well with how squishy most of the death monsters are. This card provides a really strong front cover for my team while also outlasting my opponent's frontline. It also has a great design.

ā¶ļø Purpose āļø
This card offers a really strong pressure for my opponent since it attacks monster at the back of their team. It also has a great speed and a really low mana requirements, meaning that it can be easily slapped on any team compt.

ā¶ļø Purpose āļø
If you read my weekly post, you will notice that I always uses a secondary tank since a good plan should always have a plan B is anything else fails. Corpse Feind will be the secondary tank albiet he does not poses that much muscle interms of taking hits but since it has 0 mana, it atleast gives extra time for my attacker to deal damage. I placed this card on third on the line since Undead Badger is faster and it is smarter to place a faster melee unit in front since they can deal damage first in comparison with the slow and bulky frontlines, well, atleast in my opinion.

This monster's attacks cannot miss. Blind doen't affect monster with True Strike.
ā¶ļø Purpose āļø
This card will be the main damage dealer with its massive range damage. I placed it second to the last since Magi Necrosi has the camouflage ability and if it's worst come to worst, Dhampir Stalker could tank some damage as Magi Necrosi finishes the work thanks to its high HP stats.

Snipe
Targets enemy Monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that are not in the first position.
ā¶ļø Purpose āļø
This card will be my secondary damage dealer thanks to its super fast speed and great magic damage and abilities. If this card was protected properly, it can even win me the game since it can deal a huge amount of magic damage to the opponent's backline. It is also protected from any attempts of the enemy to take it down thanks to its camouflage ability.
āļø Round 1
Uh oh, I'm in danger. My opponent has a taunt, meaning, all of my attempt to targer their backline won't happen until I manage to remove the user of that ability.
āļø Round 2
This is bad, It is not the greatest of time that I use Dhampir Stalker. This card has become a liability on my team. This is super bad!
āļø Round 3
My frontline falls and I think this is the end for me! My opponent's frontline is still standing strong and killing the taunt user is basically useless now since there is no one left to protect us from the onslaughts of attacks.
āļø Round 4
The Divine Shield really works against us this time so badly. I can clearly see that there is no coming back from this match.
āļø Round 5
I was down to my last monster and the enemy still has 4 monsters left with three of them still mas the Divine Shield.
Result ā ļø
There is noo surprise that I lost so that is why I decided to try Dhampir Stalker a few more matches but to no avail. I still continue losing until it finally hits me what is wrong.
š³ļø Did your strategy work?
No. I think Dhampir Stalker held my whole team back. I could use a more varied cards if I don't have to use this card. Even if the Mana cap is higher, I would still choose a different monster since the Death summoner offers a far more powerful monster with the same mana cap.
š³ļø What will you try differently next time?
I will certainly remove Dhampir Stalker from this line-up. I would replace Dhampir Stalker with Death Elemental and Life Sapper, offering me a far more greater damage since their attacks can't be blocked by armor.
š³ļø Did I like this strategy? Why or why not?
I do like this strategy if I don't have to use Dhampir Stalker. I could replace Dhampir Stalker with 2 magic dealing monster that can quickly deal with my opponents frontline. I think that even if the match has a higher mana cap, the result with this card would still be the same.
š³ļø Do I like DHAMPIR STALKER? Why or why not?
In battle, not really. Dhampir Stalker's mana requirement is too high in my opinion, limiting its use in battle since the death summoner offers far more stronger monsters in that kind of mana requirements. Its speed is also not that great considering again its mana requirements. It has a good card design but I think that is the only thing that can get it going. Leveling it up is not an option for me since I think it is not worth it that much for this card. Dhampir Stalker is basically a far worst magic attacker since it's attack don't miss but the downside is can be blocked by armor. Well, I do like the design of this card and that they should continue making this kind of card design-wise.
